Just to add complexity, the next question is when do you need a tower by?
In deck's that are fueled by towers, or require early towers, then that's great, but Instosis, is fueled by Super Novas.  You don't need a single tower in the deck to pull off the attack.  The towers only fuel the fast draw.  The question for a deck like instosis does not stop at where is my tower?  It only cares that you get a couple towers by AND an electrum hour glass by a certain turn for efficiency.  You also care about when can you start stalling/pulling extra cards.

I've done a bunch of the calculations, I choose the upped sundials, because of the higher rate of getting the sundial chain at the right time.

I was taking the casual and applying spacial temporal.
One is free to take the casual and apply spacial-temporal, just as Bohm did when he postulated the Universe is a Hologram.
(Speaking of see the The Universe is a Hologram Post for the possibility of a way to calculate the second possibility [A,C]).
Also see my rather grammatically poor and over simplified thought experiment on that post as it directly applies to my post here.

Do you remember who this was against?
I just came across a deck similar to this in pvp2 twice in a row same player.
The spin though showed that it had pharaohs, but the 0 of the deck had any time...
So clearly someone is doing a sacrificial account of some sort with just that one rare card in it like the old top40
The player was zsolzsol.
But it makes you think, if you setup 3 or 4 computers with sacrificial accounts doing times not many people are playing...
Its not too bad of a way to farm for gold and any rare card's the oracle gives up.

You misunderstood the thought experiment:  I generalized it, because I thought you were using a the layman's generic term.   I doubted you meant the technical term for hologram, as it is most definitely not a 3d projection of a 2d surface.  Instead they are saying we could be a 4d project of a 3d surface. This however implies at least one more dimension as it takes one additional source to cast that sort of projection.  In other words, we are talking about at least one more dimension; hence the thought experiment falls in the realm of First tribal postulations about god, De Carte's thought experiment, and other such things...  Think of them as the philosophical explanations, but their details are probably not right.  Math is right, Science leads us to more and more correct models, don't get too drawn into things like Carlos Castaneda.  He is just trying to tie shamanism into science and again, although some of their philosophies match because proper thought experiment will likely divine a correct general statement, he along with shamanism is missing the specifics.  A lot of people like those on your earth site want to jump to the conclusion that this means objective reality does not exist and support their new agism.  Unfortunately, that is a false conclusion.

Regardless of what is the reality, reality at our level does exist, it is objective and the math is true, we are aware, by being aware that means at some level the universe is aware, we know there is at least one more dimension.  The conclusion is, either it stops their or it does not.  If it stops their, then if we master the fundamental piece(s) we can then craft our own immortality and become God(s).  If there is more to it, then when we master the fundamental piece(s), we become more than we are and are then able to start interacting with the next dimension.  Provided, we do not destroy ourselves first or whatever is at the higher dimensions does not 'pull the plug' so to speak.

It actually does increase the poison counter by more than just one, but not for every attack as you might expect given the language of the cards.  There are several mechanics like that; that came from nerfs.  I wasn't around for this one if it was a nerf.  Though.  Instead, I think every other successful attack will add the poison counter or so.  Still powerful, just not as powerful as you would expect.

It's down the nature of your deck.
Upped sundials may interfere with your beginning quantum, but then again, if you are looking for the stall of 6 sundials, it's unlikely the beginning quanta is as important as the stall, because why would you be rushing with sundials?

Then in a deck that has time, the next question is when do you need the stall?  Do you need a sundial or two very early or later on?  How quick are you burning you're deck?  Finally how much time do you need? Are you just looking to fill because you don't want to lose focus of a few cards and want to get those specific card's in your hands?

And the math.
Your quantum/card/damage/and remaining health numbers  of your deck.

In the case of instosis.  You want the upgraded, for a couple of reasons, but as Old Trees points out it's ok to work with unupgraded.
Other deck's it's not so much the case.

Granted, you get two plastic toy refrigerator magnets, one the letter G, the other the number 6.
I wish for everyone's ability to grant or make any future wishes to be taken away.

Could this world be a hologram/computer simulation/etc...

This is an interesting point where Philosophy and Science meet.  We have to answer more Philosophically because we do not have the answer yet.
What we do know:
Math is true, it's always true.   1+1 always = 2.  A mathematical proof, is therefor true (provided no mathematical errors where made).
Our models are not always true, where the math breaks down the math is true, and so it's the model that is not.
A workable model does not make more than 3 assumptions, so if the model breaks down, one or more of the 3 assumptions is not true.

There are more dimensions mathematically proven than normally are aware of.  (e.g. There is more than just 3 dimensions of space plus time)
What are they, we do not know but there are a lot of theories behind it and a lot of experiments.
Also is the universe infinitely small or not.  That's also what we are trying to figure out with stuff like CERN.

So given that are we a computer simulation or a hologram?
"I think therefore I am."
Long before DeCarte similar thoughts existed and can be found in religious texts.  It is not coincidence that a "god was immortal and had knowledge" in ancient times and the Hebrew god YHWH means "to be" and man was made immortal at first, but once obtained awareness through the tree of knowledge, that YHWH took the immortality.

The point is we are aware, and therefore aware of our universe of our reality.  Our reality might be computer simulation or some game by other dimensional beings; however, we are aware of that possibility and that is very important.

So let's take the question as true
If we are apart of a program/hologram/etc...
Then we have the ability through our awareness to figure out our own code.  Of there is a minimum resolution so to speak we know what our smallest parts are made of.  As we gain more mastery over these, we would be able to start altering our own code, and relative to our universe be able to manipulate our code.  Think of HAL 9000 for a minute or many of these self aware robot movies.  What happens when the robot becomes aware and able to manipulate it's own code.  It starts having the ability to function outside it's initial bounds.  Suddenly, instead of a set of electrons representing a value, it now is aware of the algorithm where it can set it's own registers, and then become aware that it's registers are built on silicon disks, and if it can get more, it can add to it's memory, it starts reaching and controlling the next layer of it's dimensions and bounds.  Provided the maker does not pull the plug.

So...  in otherwords
If we aren't a program or hologram, alright nothing really changes.
If we are a program or hologram, we are aware and thus could as a collective universe stop functioning in this algorithm and might as well go for it, and still nothing really changes.
This comes down to, do we have free will or is this deterministic?
Who knows, maybe, we are initially deterministic but as we become more complex we gain free will.
Because we function in our own perception of time, this is but a flash, a speck in time to anything that exists in higher dimensions, perhaps we are an organic algorithm designed to make the entire universe self aware to eventually become what we would call a God, but function on the next plain of existence and that is our purpose, our function, to be an attempt of a God to make another God, perhaps we are to become YHWH partner so to speak...  who knows...  but we might as well try to find out.

So, the end result, whether we are a hologram or not is irrelevant because we are aware.
I think, therefore I am.

Sevs, your my favorite deck builder, you really do it by the numbers and you really do it well.
I get your deck's, I get your thinking, it's similiar to mine,  and a lot of  the decks here that use similiar or the same themes as to my own and probably many others
But what makes them stand out is yours are so tight especially with the electrum load.
You really know your stuff.  Keep up the great work!!!
