General Discussion / Re: Having fun with Condors/Vultures
« on: February 02, 2010, 08:23:14 am »
I would think the maximum value would be whatever the game allows or infinite really. You'd just need (at least) 1 condor, 1 aflatoxin, 1 otyugh, 2 eternities, 1 flying weapon, 1 something to use aflatoxin on, 1 something to eternity on for yourself not to deck out, some constant healing to make sure you don't die from the 1 creature of the opponent's that you use eternity on, and towers to get the necessary quanta (especially time) to make sure your opponent and yourself doesn't deck out. There might be other ways....

Deck Help / Re: Aether Deck help change to w/e

Aether unupgraded works pretty decent as a god grinder. It probably is one of the best unupgraded decks in terms of electrum/time. It's how I progressed through this game.

Card Ideas and Art / Re: Flavor text.
« on: February 01, 2010, 02:25:15 pm »
Are these serious suggestions? Not to pop anyone's bubble but I don't think flavour text should be predominantly lame-funny. It is not the case in any card games I know of. In any case, I personally prefer flavour text that adds a certain degree of awe or back-story to the card. It is not that I feel that I can give any contribution myself but rather just a suggestion to (potential) contributors of the direction I think we should take with this.

Hmm, I haven't logged on to elements for over a day and I can't visit the oracle?

Aether / Re: Lobotomizer / Electrocutor
« on: January 31, 2010, 05:50:26 am »
You don't?

When damage from the creatures are less of a concern to you and creatures' skills are more of a concern, this card is the answer. When would you have this situation? I'll give you a clue: its element is Aether. That's not to say it only has use in one situation/deck but you got your example.

You just need to play a lot and get enough money for the cards. You do not really need to get Titan from Top 50 farm decks. I've gotten quite a few from False Gods.

I agree with PuppyChow. This makes changing decks so much slower. I was never too fussed about the graphical error in the first place. One could always mouse-over the cards to see the real cards.

I would think the previous process of making a deck and then going back out and in to check if it is right takes a similar amount of time than the current delayed system. I don't really see any gain happening. Perhaps the delay could be tweaked?

This is a good idea. I just hope that it will be available every day or every whatever-period and not be timer-based. By that I mean I do not want there to be a 24 hour (or whatever period) timer once we visit the oracle.
So, just to clarify this to myself and everyone else, you're suggesting that once a day, as in, upon midnight, when the date changes from Monday to Tuesday, for example, we can visit the Oracle?

An example would be that if I visit the Oracle at 11:59pm on Monday, I can then visit her again one minute later, but then I'd have to wait at least until the next Midnight to visit it again, right?

And likewise, you're opposed to there being a timer system (such as the 24-hour timer), such as if I were to visit the Oracle at 10:27am, I'd have to wait until 10:27am the following day to visit it again?

I'm pretty sure that's what you meant, but correct me if I'm wrong.
Yes, that's right. I'm opposed to the latter because you would inevitably lose time. Then again, with the non-timer-based system, some people can effectively log in once every 2 days and visit the oracle. I would still rather the non-timer-based system because I don't play elements to a schedule and I don't wish to do so.
