I wasn't really considering a breeding program, so I didn't really think about how many were male and how many were female, I just picked the names based on how much I liked them.  Nightmare would have been the name of the Darkness Mount, but that one became a Tiger because I felt the urge to design outside of the box.

I didn't 'take it seriously' but I was fooled.  I just assumed that my forum name was the same as someones in-game name.  I thought it was a coincidence or something.  I never freaked out, but I didn't get it at first.

Now of course I realize that we need to keep this thread going so that [you] won't get away with all this hacking.

but 1 deflag doesn't do 7 damage per turn until you need to use it

Oh, I didn't think of that, steal the enemy weapon/drop a weapon trick.

We'd just have to ask zanz to somehow prevent that from working, so that even if you did that, the enemy would still get their weapon back, because that is not an intended use for this card.

Or, if that's not a possibility, I could make it copy the item for 1 turn instead of steal it, but then you wouldn't be able to steal shields to get past them, which would be a nice use of this card, but maybe overpowered, since it effectively gets rid of the shield if you use it every turn.

quicksand: The water weapon already blasts pillars.  Of course, Pulverizer didn't stop me from making a deflag Mount, but I just don't like the idea of having the earth mount destroy pillars.

Plate Armor: Give any creature +0/+6 every turn?  First, I think that earth has enough def-buff, with plate armor and bask blood, but secondly, I can't really envision a good reason for why the terrasque would buff your other creatures.  Sure, some of the other mounts don't really make logical sense either, but it just doesn't feel right to me.  It just doesn't seem as inovative as my other mounts.

Maybe the terrasque could have:  :earth :earth Dig. Burrow target creature you control.
The problem there is that there is no way to unburrow them then, but I guess it's a trade.  He'd basically be a 'quint on a stick' then, making all your creatures invicible, but half-power.

I'm really trying to find something that really jumps out at me.  I feel that this mount has been the most challenging, and it will take a lot of work to get this one right.

And btw, the pictures will of course change before these guys make it into the game.  I'm not an artist.  The pictures I've used are just examples for proof of concept.

Ok, thanks, how about suggestions of what you would like the Earth mount to do?

I'm looking forward to seeing how the votes stack up.  I made it where people can change their vote for when I change the cards.

thunderstorm/rain of fire/ and plague all kill a large number of creatures in play, reducing the effectiveness of your empathetic bonds, which is why I listed them as weaknesses for Empathetic Bond.  My point was that there are many more ways to get rid of this mount, than there are ways to get rid of empathetic bonds.

They're easily summoned. Only a few quanta. Throw them in.
I have tried, over and over and over to add SoG to my build, and it never increases the effectiveness no matter what I do.

I have tried the following:

Adding in 3 to 6 SoG without removing cards - The extra cards increase bad draws and slow down the deck.
Adding in 3 to 6 SoG while removing cards - (All cards are necessary to the build, it always hurt more than it helped)
Remove 1 Bond and added in 1 to 2 SoG - Not enough life-gain in many situations.
Remove 2 Bonds and added in 2 to 4 SoG - Way to little lifegain.
Remove 1 Bond and added in 3 to 4 SoG - Extra cards increase bad draws and slow down the deck.
Adding in 1 SoG without removing cards - Most of the time you don't get it early and it's a useless card by the time you draw it.
Adding in 2 SoG without removing cards - Again, the second one you draw is often a useless card by then.

Adding in 2 SoG while removing 1 pillar - Probably the strategy that hurt the deck the least, but by that time I had upgraded pillars, so I don't know if it would work with non-upgraded pillars.

Peace,
Jallen

Ok, imagine Ray Of Light, Fractal, Hope, Miracle, Light Dragon, Divine Stallion decks.  RoL/Hope is already a powerful deck.  This card would greatly increase mono-light's power.
