Does he even check these boards?   ???

Just curious.

Makes total sense that he doesn't post here.  I wouldn't, if I were him.  I'd be inundated with PMs and messages pointed at me.

But it is nice to know he's up-to-speed on the discussions here.   :)

I see that we're now on version 1.14, but the patch notes (http://elementsthegame.com/last.html) and development page (http://elementsthegame.com/development.html) say nothing about it.

Anybody know what 1.14 did for the game?  Was it just some backend stuff?

General Discussion / Things that make Rainbow decks overpowered, solutions.
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:09:36 pm »

My biggest complaint about rainbow decks has nothing to do with how overpowered they are.

I hate that a) it's hard to win cards off them, and b) most of the cards you do win aren't very valuable.

 :(

Sounds like someone's upset that the computer loses with his t50 deck.   :D

I'm kidding.  Those errors drive me batty, too.   :-\

So in the meantime, where do we report these people?

If nothing else, they need to be banned immediately.  I'd prefer to do it publicly, if possible.

I have a hard time believing that someone playing 6 cards for over 40 quantums when they began their turn with 1 card and 8 quantums is anything other than a hack.

Time / Mono-Time can be retarded

Fire so ez to grind with but can cost you alot of games if you cant draw. You'll win 26 out 30 games grinding with Darkness but 22 out 30 with Fire.

:)
Grinding where?  I win 49 out of 50 with my monofire deck <=AI3.

General Discussion / Are Quantum Towers Too Powerful?
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:09:35 pm »

I think quantum towers are just fine. They are in no way overpowered. It is the versatility of the rainbow deck itself that is overwhelming - the combination of pillars, novas, dials, hourglasses and other cards from each element. And a rainbow deck is best suited for farming gods - it has the needed versatility.
That combination doesn't happen if the Towers produce one less quantum per turn.

I wouldn't expect to see god farming decks in PVP, because they have way more to gain by playing the gods.   :D

Issue Archive / Bugs/Imbalance

Would suggest to increase it to 5 charges, or maybe 3 as a compromise, and also display a warning so that a card is not wasted.
I was frustrated the first time I realized that deflag doesn't work on Bone Wall, but I think it's important for balance to the game.

The only thing I think is overvalued about Bone Wall is that it adds 2 walls per creature death.
