Religion / Re: Evolution and Intelligent Design

I don't want to spend to much time debating this with you guys, but many of you guys are mixing micro evolution (this is not Darwin's evolution. it's just like people who live on a mountain get stronger lungs so they can survive) and macro evolution, which is like sharks turning into people. Anyone who studies the human body would see how amazingly complex it is, yet if you are a evolutionist you are forced to believe that all happened by chance! Take the great Pyramids in Egypt they aren't very complex yet when you look at them you don't think that those stones happened to fall together in a pyramid shape and that they all got cut somehow, do you? that would be ridiculous! But you say the human body which is very  complex just happened by chance?
Dont go there. Ignorance is bliss. As far as most of them are concerned, there is no difference between the 2. They are convinced it is a creationist term, which is it actually scientific. Even though it is offten mentioned in debates between ID and Evolution. Them term evolution is also brought up a lot as well. Does that mean Evolution is not scientific?  Just dont go that route... Its pointless..

Quote from: chemist
(and who says it had to have metabolism from the start?)
If it has no metabolism, it cant grow. It has to grow to replicate, otherwise itll get infinitly smaller. Unless matter for it is spontaneously generating now. I didnt explain each part because I didnt think it was really neccessary. It has to have some way to ingest food, simple or complex. So that it can grow, so that when it replicates, its not getting smaller.
Blue Priest is right if a being doesn't have metabolism It will die in and matter of minutes (because these would be cell we are dealing with)  And then there wouldn't be any life and your back to square one.

Priest's reply to may last post is so true. Chemist said that there is no sharks turning into people in the theory of evolution... Check your facts just last year there was a study saying that people evolved from sharks because of similar breeding process or something. This was recently decided to be wrong and now we're back to apes :o

I won't go deep into this topic, but I'll just throw this as an idea. From what I understand, given infinite time even things that are unlikely to happen are bound to happen at some point.
Yes perhaps but we don't know that. and according to evolutionists the universe is about 10 billion years old that's not infinite!

I have played my first 2 games this morning against FGs and have won 3 cards already.  This seems like it will turn out to be a long day of FG grinding.  I hope my luck holds out!  Also only 1 of 3 times that I have beat Hermes.
lol, I started out bad today but after sticking with it for a few hours I started winning big time.
I upped 3 in one hour! it was awesome :life

General Discussion / Re: What is this card?
« on: April 12, 2010, 04:40:27 pm »
It's a Relic.  Those are "placeholders" for cards that are in a deck but cannot be won in spins (Nymphs, Mark Cards, etc.).  As of right now, their only purpose is to be sold in the Bazaar (and I think their value was just lowered  :( )
I didn't know that thanks!

Would anyone here bet me that after the 100,000th try, they could guess the order of a deck after I shuffle it? And I reshuffle it each time a guess is made? How about if I gave you 10 Billion years to guess. Then do you think you could do it? You still probably wouldnt be able to. Heres why.

Even though you have 10billion years to guess, each time you guess you have just as good a chance to get it right as you did the first time. Your chances dont magically go up due to time. The same happens with evolution. Just because theres more time, it doesnt man that theres a better chance of it happening each individual time.

Relying on something as small as this chance is well... not really the brightest idea in my opinion. Heres the thing, I do not believe some type of intelligent design theory should be taught as a fact either, however, teaching something that has such a small chance of happening, i believe to be ridiculous to teach as a fact.

When it comes down to it, we shouldnt be taught that somethign did happen, when we really dont know it did. Especially when we know theres a very very very good chance that it didnt happen the way we think.

Life coming to be almost had to come from some type of superior being. Whether that be the God of christians, of muslims, of whatever it may be. Maybe just some God that started things off, and then left. However, teaching this as fact, and saying that it is a fact, is ridiculous.

Yes, i belive things change. ll Dogs whether its a chow or a lab, all came from a dog of some sort. Wolves might have as well, or they may have had thier own species. Do I believe that a Cat is related to a dog, or a dog to a bird? No. I really dont.

Heres the thing. If you believe in evolution, but you dont believe that we all came from a common ancestor, then that means there was AT LEAST 2 cells in the beginning, which means this event that had to happen for life to staet, had to happen 2 times.

Now, if we do manage to create a cell, which I doubt will ever happen, but if we do manage to create life in labs, then heres the thing. That was a controlled environment, and you were an intelligent being creating it. The beginning of earth wouldnt have had any plants on it, no way to sustain life. There wouldnt have been any oxygen. Nothing. Trees are alive. Plants are alive. An early cell wouldnt have had any way to live, even if it was a plant cell.
People just read this its a very compelling argument and it makes a lot of sense if you ask the part about the lab thing is very logical. I really do hate it when people teach evolution as fact when theres not much proof. If you think about the idea of big bang you'll see just how flaud it is!   :life

I agree with blue priest there isn't enough proof for evolution OR the big bang "the universe happened during an explosion of molecules" hello where'd the molecules come from???????????

I am very curious to inquire as to how you are able to know that they have died of drowning instead of endless other causes, did you take the time to pick them up and take them to a medical lab and do tests on them?
I raised frogs in entirely water environments(fish tanks), and they have not drown, are you implying that they can held their breath for many months and will drown right after that?
In a flood I've seen 20-30 Frogs whipped out

Game Suggestions and Feedback / Re: Adventure Mode!
« on: April 12, 2010, 02:35:06 pm »
I think there should be a new level: Adventure.
You start with 250 health (Same with your enemies). After the first (Out of 5) fights, whatever you had at the end of that fight you take into the next round.
You go through 6 rounds,

1-4: All unupgraded enemies, starting at meduim and ending at hard.
5: Semi-upgraded but harder than HBs. Challenge level of: Hard/Really Hard

*Edited* 6: Then theres a boss level, You go back to 250hp and your enemy..... 500! He is the true 'God' of the random element selected for him and he has a CRAZY rush deck like the god of fire would have a crazy deck to massivley murder you in but a few turns. This would go great with the possible 'Hero Cards' Being added..?..

You get 2 spins after fight 1, 2, 3, and 4.
3 spins after 5. (Spins are 50/50 chance for upped or unupped. Rares included (Same Rares as Below!))
And 5 Spins after 6. (All spins are for upgraded AND rare cards such as weapons nymphs shards ect.)

And for LOLs, the last fight name should be "Zanz" Or something with "Zanz" Lol.

Whatchya think? :D
Perhaps this would be a good addition if it was a little less powerful?

Sometimes, it´s hard to read the message so fast and you don´t get, what your opponent said.
Especially ,when the message is longer or when the opponent writes several messages.
Then the first message gets replaced.

For friendship games you can use the pvp duel mode, but against random players,
it´s the only way to communicate.
This is a valid point and one which has been brought up by many players i know :-\
