I honestly don't see any problem with how T50 works.  People who want to put up a farm deck, do.  People who don't, do not.  As the AIs go up, it should be harder-- I would absolutely hate it if new players could make an account, go straight to T50 and find nothing but farms. 

I remember the first time I played a T50 game.  It happened to be a farm.  I saw my opponent play tons of pillars and pendulums but nothing else, and I thought to myself "wow, is this really one of the best players the game has to offer?"  I almost quit then and there. 

TL;DR: Farms have their place, and what people do in the T50 is fine by me.

I actually really like the idea for this, LV.  But a slight note about stuff:

Silent auction is a variant of an English auction where bids are written on a sheet of paper. At the predetermined end of the auction the highest listed bidder wins the item. This auction is often used in charity events, with many items auctioned simultaneously with a common finish time. The auction is "silent" in that there is no auctioneer, the bidders writing their bids on a bidding sheet often left on a table near the item.

So in reality, we're already doing a silent auction-- you're talking about doing one with bids sealed until the end of each of the rounds. 

If you do end up making a suggestion thread at some point though, can I get a mention?

I'd be for it for PvP only, most likely.  It would probably slow down grinding too much by putting in an extra choice/prompt to be worthwhile there.

Thanks for the heads-up, sux.  Hadn't seen that topic.

Are we sure it's still a problem?  It's been 3 months since someone last replied to that topic, and Opera has been rebuilt a couple times since it was started.

Yeah, I've been having this problem as well.  I thought it was just a bug with either upgraded cards or my browser (Opera), but apparently it is not?

Why I would make a good War team member

I have a very good grasp of the subtleties of the game, mainly because I have played on the Pro Tour for Magic: The Gathering (a game with similar principles) in real life.  Even though my actual play experience in Elements is somewhat more limited than a veteran, I am confident I can still out-think the average player online.
