Sanctuary is definitely worth considering for this FG...
Considering?  More like practically made for this FG :)

and now you are introducing new, pretty crazy strong falsegods to make it EVEN harder? I mean, how am i ever supposed to beat Jezebel... an AI that does nothing but steal all my pillars and turn them into nymphs that then devour me up and are protected by cloak and aether  :aether nymphs... CRAZY TIME?

I would be very glad if you would consider adding in one or two a bit easier falsegods that can actually be beaten at a good rate or use a more basic deck strategy and have a higher spinchance if you beat them.
FG's aren't MEANT to be easy.  They are meant to be the (currently at least) ultimate challenge in the game.  And for that matter, the new ones for the most part don't seem to be THAT hard.  Serket is very easy if you can get a 2+ point shield out quickly enough, Eternal Crusader(largely due to currently poor AI) is easy enough with CCYB or probably many other decks as well.  With a few exceptions, almost any fg can be beaten easily enough if you know from the oracle which one you will be fighting.  Otherwise, it may be a lot harder to win consistently but there are certainly some decks which can do so.  Not to mention the fact that 1.27 has only been live for a few days and the cards are not even available in bazaar yet, so there will probably be many new decks built around those(and yes, the cards were available in trainer for longer but not everyone uses that as much).

maybe replace some of the rewinds with crusaders?

Eternal crusader - I'd say this is the easiest of the new 5 FGs for CCYB. Let him keep his eternity so he uses the crusader's skill on it instead of your pulvy.
or if you have pulvy out beforehand, don't be afraid to use it to pulverize itself rather than let him get hold of it

Patch Notes and Development News / Re: AI improvements

Eternal Crusader's AI definitely needs a bit of work.  Most of the games I've played against it, it draws through cards way too quickly.  Normally this would not be a problem with all the eternities and crusaders it has but since it uses quint or Anubis on all of its creatures, it ends up having nothing left to target and has decked itself out in almost every game I won against it.

Thanks.  Will do.  Btw, how well do you think RoL/Hope decks will do against the new FGs in comparison to the CCYB variations?
Haven't tried RoL/Hipe on the new ones yet but as a quick guess, I don't think it would do too well against the new ones.

1. Akebono - probably you'll take a fairly high amount of damage before getting the combo set up, though you might not have too much trouble surviving that.  Lobo will take care of the normal momentum'd creatures for the most part but I think the real killer will be chimera as this could potentially kill you in one shot.

2. Eternal Crusader - As soon as he gets an Anubis out and quints it same turn, it's over.  From there, he'll just drop a pharoah, protect that, play scarabs, eat your RoL's, rewind any dragons you get out, and swarm you very quickly.

3. Hecate - Probably a decent chance here at least.  You'll take direct damage from the voodoo dolls getting LS'd or rage potion'd but can probably heal through that without too much trouble.

4. Jezebel - Highly dependent on what nymphs she gets here.  Dark, Death, Earth, and Fire nymphs will definitely hurt you if she can keep cloaks up enough to prevent you from loboing them.  Air nymph will of course almost instantly cripple you.  Otherwise though, you might have a very good chance here.

5. Serket - This one just comes down to if you can get Hope and at least 4 RoL out before taking too much poison and then get enough shards out in time to keep you alive through whatever poison you did take.  I have a feeling you'll take too much poison too quickly for this if you do manage to get your defenses up in time, he has no creature or permanent control so it'll be very easy from there.

Forum Archive / Re: No Farm Deck
« on: February 28, 2011, 01:50:50 pm »
I like to fight T50 for practice and fun, not just for rares. I've been losing a lot more this week than usual.

My first question is, is it just me or have the non-farm T50's been tougher this week?

Also, I've tried both Lava Golem Rush deck and a Time Rainbow deck and I keep getting nowhere.

So my second question is, any suggestions on type of deck to use against the non-farm T50's?
(I'm not asking for help on my decks, just the general deck-type to try.)

Thanks,
LSK
Maybe more people were using their real decks trying to save up so they could upgrade new decks as soon as the update/new cards were released?  As for what type of deck, it can vary quite a bit.  You might just have to play a few games, figure out what types of decks are currently popular, and then think about what will counter them effectively.  I havent done t50 much for a couple weeks(mostly fg grinding again trying to save for upgrades) so would need more info on what you're running into that's giving you so much trouble in order to suggest a more specific strategy.

False Gods / Re: New Decks for New Gods?

Beat Serket, Akebono, and Hecate so far with CCYB.  Serket looks pretty easy there as long as you get your shield out early before taking too much poison damage.  Akebono was probably somewhat lucky..played eternity very early and used that to get rid of his first couple overdrives, switched to pulverizer a few turns later, and antimattered 2 of his dragons.  Hecate stole eternity which made it much harder but shield and shards kept me alive and I eventually wound up winning with a combination of antimattering 2 of his 8/8 liquid shadow'd dolls and a quinted air nymph(won 2 dolls from spins also  :) )

Liquid shadow + antimatter would be the best combo there

1. In the long run, FG's are probably the best for electrum but you'll need a fairly strong deck to make them really worthwhile.  T50 is good until then especially since you can get a lot of rares easily that way and then once you have 13+, you can start selling them for more electrum.
2.  CCYB is probably one of the best overall decks now(and also somewhat customizable to fit your play style.  RoL/Hope is probably the fastest FG deck and also a good one to start with there since only the RoL's absolutely need to be upgraded, however there are also a lot of FG's you probably won't be able to beat often and should just skip if you end up fighting them(some shards of gratitude will help allowing you to beat a few other FG's) and RoL/hope is also much weaker against many t50 decks or AI5(pretty much anything with good creature control is going to give you problems).  With the new update coming out soon, there will probably be some new decks and strategies coming out but still a bit soon to say what will be best with the new FG's and cards

Archived Decks / Re: Eternal Crusher!!!

I actually managed to deck out eternal crusader using just a normal deck earlier...if had nearly all its creatures quinted, drew through it's cards extremely quickly, and also on the last turn, animated its weapon meaning that one couldn't use its ability

Death / Re: Skeleton / Elite Skeleton
« on: February 27, 2011, 09:37:53 am »
I would like to see something like a "Skull King" who either

-Generates 1 skeleton each turn (like Pharoh or FireFly Queen)
-Increase every skeletons attack by 2 when it is summoned. (it may be OP, but I am brainstorming, feel free to edit)
-Have a stat like X/7, X being how many Skeletons you have out.

But Skeleton is a very versetile card, but are those "Never Upgrade These" cards
I'd say the second one would only be OP if the effect stacks when there's more than 1 SK in play or if it stacks with eclipse.  The last one MIGHT be OP with fractal but probably not too bad even then.  In any case, submit it as a card idea and add a poll for which option would be best.
