Issue Archive / Re: Blank 99 +99 card in hand? [unconfirmed]

I can confirm this one.

Playing against AI5, turn 3 or so.  Blank card appeared when I was ending my turn.

This is not REALLY a bug, because the program is working as designed.  But it should still be fixed.

With Sanctuary and Solar Shield in play, Solar Shield does not generate quanta when preventing damage.

How is it you're the only one to notice that?  :D

Thanks.  Art text updated.

Does the curator have further comment before I launch this one?

Unclear which "statis effects" are nullified.  Poison?  Silence?  Cloak?  Immaterial?  And can new effects still be given, they just don't work for the turn?

It's powerful enough to be game-changing.  It essentially crimps or cleans out FFQ's, Pharaohs, Oty's, Spirits, Golems, most flying weapons, nymphs, poisoners, etc.

No, it doesn't dominate every deck out there -- just many of them.  There's no way in the world I wouldn't play with this card.  I would be stupid not to use it.

A time-limit or stiff upkeep would be in order.

I see no reason to drop the card.

And I don't think reducing a player's max HP is OP.  But the point about regenerating Spells and Permanents is well taken.

I would change the text to:

When creatures are destroyed, they go to the bottom of their owner's deck.  Each turn, each player's maximum health is reduced by 2.

This gives the card a dual purpose.  It would stall for a very long time, and it gives an interesting strategy to players using Shard of Divinity and Stone Skin.  But I don't think it would break the game at all.

I think not triggering deaths is right on.  There is so much potential for abuse.  It would be a permanent Schro's Cat on steroids.

Perhaps the absorb cost can be tied to the creatures.  For each one (or two or three) that regenerates, it burns a  :death quanta.  This would mean that the player would have to include several Soul Catchers and Towers to keep the dance going.

While cards are revealed when played, it does not have to be that way.  Whether or not Zanz would want to change that is up to him.

I love this concept.  There is potential to put them into Permanent slots or onto the field of battle in random locations.

I think de-cloaking spells should reveal them.

oooooooooooo..........

Add a few Hourglasses, and you're nearly invincible.  Drawing 4 cards a turn, +1 for your opponent, holds back 10 attacks.  Not impossible to beat, but very, very powerful.  Throw in a few Eternities and Animate Weapons.  IDK... Overpowered, or just really good?

Does it gain barriers for the first card drawn during the turn?

Ok, I just think it's going to be pretty simple to create an eternal rainbow deck that blockades all damage.
