4 people dropped at the begining of the round? That's disappointing.

I hope that isn't setting a trend that many will follow.
25% dropout rate?? thats pretty hard...
Shouldn't we give a second chance to those, who lost in round one? I just don't see dropping out here to be fair towards all the other contestant. Of course they must have their reasons, but still...
But how would you decide which people who have lost get to have that second chance?
Just like it is done in tourneys. The last person the who the dropping out player played against. For example player A advances Round 1 by beating player B and then player A drops out, B should have the chance to continue for Round 2. (If it happens in Round 3, the beaten opponent from Round 2 should replace the person)

I think this would make it fair for everyone.

EDIT: I should read first :) These were results of not played matches in round 1... But it's still valid for drop outs;)

Last minute changes were/are really annoying and confusing. Especially talking about UW. Changing the basic system was a good addition (no losers bracket), but it created a huge amount of confusion. If this could be avoided, or really carefully explained (I might be new and less experienced with war, but I'm sure I wasn't the only one in the situation), it would be great. But still it is good, just suggesting :)

Half Bloods / Re: Half-bloods Are they worth it now?
« on: April 04, 2011, 03:39:34 am »
I think AI5 is worth farming but only until you can make a great FG farming that. I started (completely unoriginally) with SG's almost unupped FG farming deck, with which I did beat a few gods, but my score was falling and it was bothering to only win once in 4-5 matches.
Then I switched to AI5 with the same deck and barely lost (90-95% winning). Games weren't the fastest with the deck, but it was stable and I quickly collected electrum for a fully upped FG farming deck (CCYB). Haven't played AI5 since, because (after upgrades) I'm easily above 50-60% winning (no depressing or score losing) and I get a lot more electrums.
So imo farming AI5 is for newer players collecting for FG farming decks, after that it's not worth it.

Patch Notes and Development News / Re: AI improvements

It might've been mentioned before but I couldn't find it...

AI messes up Anubis all the time! When AI playes Anubis it's ability is not used usually until few turns later. Giving you time to kill it more easily (Anubis becomes immortal 3-4 turns after played). Note: AI doesn't use the aether quanta for anything else.

Also AI playes quint on Anubis. I was laughing at this, because it happened in the second turn of the existence of Anubis. 3 :aether spent instead of 1.... (upped cards)

Wow Genuinous - I didn't think that someone was still interested in the unupped art.

Yes, I did kind of make that hastily - with Jippy's intial description on how it should be drawn that popped up in my head. I didn't use paint though - I used Pixlr.

But thank you - I think I have the energy to rework it now.
This new one is blinding :) I still like this one and thanks for redoing :)
I prefer the creativity in that one, instead of shield like lines around  :light. But I seem to be outvoted by others. Maybe this new one will be more attractive.

Are you planning to work more on the unupped one? I like it more, because it's more original, but (no offense) kinda looks like a Paint version.... If you will work on it, it can be a lot better than the upped one.
