I used a partially unupped version of the second deck on this thread to beat Divine Glory today. The best part? Got an EM, and then 3 cards from the roulette! (Morning Glory, Explosion, and Improved Miracle :D)

Feeling great about this, because in addition, this is my 200th post! I'm a Full Member now! :D

It would be even creepier if we both had the same upgraded cards. :P

Still, I came up with this deck a little while ago. I don't look at the results until I'm ready to post.

That's a pretty disturbing coincidence, though...

Mormegil, if Carcharoth wins this event, Three will gladly cook you two a lobster dinner. He's not so happy with me though... I only get a PB&J sandwich from him!

Five in One: 3
Calindu221: 2

Some pretty close matches, since we playing just about the same decks.

Wanted to be sure I got some shiny Relics...

Game 1: Win. It took a while, but eventually my poison overtook his. Most matches went like this.

During the second game, there was a desynch. We decided to redo the game.

Game 2: Loss. A matter of luck gave me little to work with, and Calindu was able to stack up poison fast enough to win the game. Even then, it was pretty close.

Game 3: Win. Another game like the first, but still pretty good.

Game 4: Loss. Calindu had the best opening hand he could hope for, with massive poison dealt out right away. Before long, I was swamped.

Game 5: Win. It mainly came down to the RNG to determine our fate, and today I was smiled upon. A good hand also helped. Even then, this was a close match.

Good games Calindu! They were really close, and it was a pleasure to play against you!

(Note: Where Calindu is, it's really late at the moment. He said he'd post his results tomorrow.)

I can believe that.

Carcharoth (The Mormegil) - 2/2
Three (Five in One) - 1/2

Three put all he could into this last match, but sadly it wasn't enough to save him from defeat. Though his first game turned out fairly well, it soon went downhill from there. Still, he had been defeated by his rival, Carcharoth, so in a way it wasn't too bad, as now it gives him something to strive for, even if it takes forever.

Unfortunately, Three is forced to retire, but he will rise again some day to become stronger than before, and challenge Carcharoth to see once again who is the strongest of all.

X5 RELICS?!? :o

Well, I know what 2 of my choices will be! :P

Interesting event, I must say. (Now, how can I rig this later on... ::)) I wonder if there'll be events in later rounds where you have the possibility to lose relics. A roulette would be kinda fun as an event as well, or perhaps a lottery. With a lottery, 12 random slots could be chosen after a round and, regardless of winning or losing, players would gain some Relics depending on how many choices matched their own, with a larger bonus if the targeted slots are correct as well. It might have a cost if you'd like to try for it, though, say 1-2 Relics.

Just some thoughts. Sorry for my randomness--I should probably try sleeping for a change.

I completely annihilated DevilLoss, countering just about every more he made with Deflagrations and Rage Potions while my Voodoo Dolls and the occasional Black Dragon whittled away his HP. The second game was pretty close though, and it was a fun match after a long string of losses for me in PvP events and tournaments.

Good games DevilLoss! Hope you have better luck in the future!

Choices:

1J - Fire Shield
2K - Mind Flayer
3C - 2 Relics
4H - 1 Relic
5L - Voodoo Doll

7D - Black Dragon
8F - Liquid Shadow
9B - Deflagration
10I - Rage Potion
11G - 2 Relics
12E - 1 Relic

Relics gained: 7
Total Relics: 7
