Patch Notes and Development News / Re: A few details about T500
« on: June 12, 2011, 11:50:28 pm »
THIS IS GOING TO BE AWESOME!!!!!

Btw, if this is the right place for feedback, I'd like to see 2xMark and 2xDeck as separate options, to potentially increase the challenge. It's a pity that with score having a real meaning we'll probably see a rise in the amount of hackers, but oh well.

Why are so many people always disconnected from the server in their pictures?  It's too many to be coincidence anymore.....
Where have you seen people with plenty of screenies depicting connection troubles (besides me ofc)?
My problems are related to my modem-router being a piece of crap, but it is true that if you disconnect from the internet, you can play a match and then choose whether to save the game or not depending on the outcome. Nobody is crazy enough to do this anyway, so nobody regards this as a potential exploit.
I don't know if that was what you were suggesting, but I'm going to go with connection troubles.

So many close ones, but not quite a clean field :D
In soviet russia, clean field gets you!

Also, stuff like this happens:

Almost...

I'm not really good at this, but I'll try.

Teammates, thank you very much for the awesome experience I had with you. Building decks, testing, managing the discarding, playing... all that wouldn't have been possible without you guys. I can say I really had fun with this, and having another 7 members to back me up, help me and correct me was great.

Of course, I couldn't not say how uber-awesome wizelsnarf is. Leading a team of (mostly) noobs to a (certain) war success was a big achievement. I think I speak in the name of all the team when I say: thank you for the vote of confidence, for teaching us how to build decent war decks, for helping with our jobs or even doing them alone, for supporting and motivating us...

So yeah, told you. I'm no good at this.

Issue Archive / Re: Dissapearing electrum? [unconfirmed]
« on: May 31, 2011, 11:24:50 pm »
Well, your memory isn't as bad as you think it is.  When you go into PvP Duel and you defeat your opponent, for some reason I still do not understand, it shows you as winning a certain amount of Electrum.  However, that Electrum is not added to your original total, keeping the amount of Electrum the same before and after your duel.
IIRC, that amount of electrum is the same you won in your previous non-duel game. Probably a minor bug with the duel not awarding electrum, instead of awarding 0.

In my opinion, Dogg and xn0ize would be the ones deserving the award, although I haven't played or interacted too much with QT or Bootsza.

Are we getting a re-reaudit or what?
I don't think so. Even if those penalties were wrong (although the times Kael posted are accurate - probably copypasta'd), we would have already lost because of other penalties. I'm going to go ahead and point at myself as the main culprit of this situation, which I am.

However, there might be an error in there: with the illegal deck fielded in round 5, and the subsequent forfeit, Kael hasn't checked that the effect of that round's event card allowed to save an extra 5 cards from discarding. Thus, the reparation should be only 25 cards, and the penalty, 31. I'm not sure though.

Also: why is the topic name SALT, and what happened to the OP?

I feel that we could actually get the fire deck in there.  We'd have phoenixes (from salvage) instead of Fahrenheits, but it could still work.
In 15 hours we'll know who we are facing next round, and hopefully the penalty we are taking. Then we can choose our deck. We can actually field stuff other than the poison deck, which is good.

But yeah, with the fire pends and the phoenixes, the fire deck can still be an option. I hadn't taken this round's salvages into account.

Unless we want to surprise with a (subpar) firebolt stall, this is another deck that is going to the trash can.

Why aren't you using novas? They get you the quanta quicker than QTs. 4 shields are a little overkill in a 30-card deck, you can drop one or even two to make space for other stuff (I wouldn't suggest SoGs though).

Wait, we have fielded the same deck twice? Against the same person? Played by the same person? :P

Dogg probably deserved to end this war undefeated for being the awesome player he is, but I wanted to win too. Sorry for that, man ;)

Game 1: I got a quick start and managed to put a lot of poison on him early. He didn't play any shields, so them frogs managed to score some hits. The deflags didn't appear, so his phoenixes were turned into skellies and I won.

Game 2: I was dominated by an early shield and two well-targeted deflags. I tried to keep myself alive with heals, but it was worthless.

Game 3: Dogg was clearly the victim of a plot weaved by his Pends, which appeared nonstop in his hand and let me have an easy win.

Great games, Dogg! It is always awesome to play against you.

Sorry guys, I thought we had yet another day and went away from my PC without warning you. If anything bad good happens this round, just blame me tell ralouf1 and PlayerOa. We deserve it 100%.
fixed :P

Just joking around here: No it's not you. We are 8 members that should work equally, and we are in that case blaming ourselves as a team.
We all have to do our share, and I can't help but notice that RL has been dragging me away from something I signed to do. This is my fault, and I could probably have participated to take work off your backs.
