Can deckout and also win by damage, the build is similar to what wave used last round but with more cards in case they stall.

For edunavas, it is important to notice that what they fielded last round was not a lame, subpar rush, it was the unupped version of the VNG (NG's golem rush). I am a noob when it comes to stopping rushes, but that deck won't be easy to outrush if they decide to repeat it. I say we use spell-CC for this, because they are fielding extra deflags to deal with perms. It's probably useless to get a weapon or a shield to that fight. Maybe siphon lives for CC and vamps to last longer? (will get killed by a stall, though)

Isei: shockwaves can also kill them GotPs, and OEs should be able to finish off dragons. Scarabtal will be a problem, but we can field an air duo if we want the bolts for another deck.

I don't know how they did it, but the RNG was on napalm's side. I was able to pop a single nova+poison throughout both games, and scorpions never hit the field. In the meanwhile, golems and phoenixes slaughtered me. Oh, did I mention the perfect hand Napalm got on game 1?

Team fire's deck was anyways very fast and would probably have outrushed me.
Great games Napalm, that was fire rushing at it's finest. I'll someday have revenge on you, just you wait. :D

I'm guessing I'll need more lightnings for a heavier CC. Also, this deck, again, can fail to the EQ countermeasure pulled in last round. What do you say?
EDIT: Isei and I are on team chat ATM.
EDIT2: the traditional mono adrenafrogs beats fire's builds on a regular basis. Maybe it's time to surprise them by taking the most predictable deck possible?

Yet another edit: can work with pendulums, of course, freeing space for you to use pillars.

With the quint deck free, kitty45/replacement can use it to beat team :air.

Isei and I were discussing our matches in chat today. Team, what do you think :fire and :light will bring?
For those of you that missed it: in round one we predicted the exact deck :light was going to use (:fire / :light stall)and countered it, but they made obvious they had noticed what we had done. Because of that, team :fire showed up with 4 EQs, which ended up killing the deck that was expected to take down their rush. Now we have to fight both teams at once. wat do?

Also, aside from those two games, that will probably be won with our minds, we need a successful deck vs water, and an anti-time thingy (I can now confirm that, as much as Xinef liked fielding Pharaohs and Scarabs, SS likes Scorps and grabows better). I think the other matches will be challenging, specially the Gen-Gen one.

Well we took a small beating but 3-5 isn't that bad. Could have been far worse.

If we salvage anything that we actually want to keep - that means tossing existing cards.
My suggestions - please comment this is by no means the best solution.


salvage from TNG: 3 lightning 3 phase shield sounds alright - or just 6 phase shield.

kitty's match: n/a

daxx: I vote 6 x Aether pillar - this way we can make an aether deck without life pendulums. We can't afford to fill our vault with fractal - so we should take aether pillars and use them or convert them to life pends.

Discard from falcon: 6 x poison, 2 x arsenic, 4 x life pendulum -1 poison deck

Discard from edunavas: 2 x cockatrice, 2 x emerald dragon, 2 x thorn carapace, 6 x life pillar cards that have been useless this far

Discard from PlayerOa: 5 x graboid, 2 x fog shield, 2 x deflag, 3 x adrenaline -1 grabow deck

Discard from Isei:  12 x life pend open for conversion with cards in our vault

Discard from wizelsnarf: 2 x steal, 2 x black dragon, 8 x life pendulum. pestosis gets hurt but not killed

total loss to quanta production: 24 life pendulums, 6 life pillars

We can only convert 24 cards to life pendulums -  so we would lose 6 pendulums under this plan most likely - that should be fine though since we didn't even use them all last round - especially if we make an aether deck with aether pillars...


Thoughts and comments please?
There are some cards in our vault that could be subject to conversion, like some water cards or maybe Morning glories. Fire cards like RPs or fire shields will work well in big decks with a lot of quanta production (heals+dragons+bolts+CC?), the question is whether we'll ever use something like that.
