Sorry guys, I thought we had yet another day and went away from my PC without warning you. If anything bad happens this round, just blame me. I deserve it 100%.

But is it just REMOVING, or changing too?
We build 36-card-decks, we remove the cards we don't want to play. Not all our decks need to be 36 cards, and this way we'll also avoid exposing our vault. Still, the strategic nature of this event card should be exploited to the maximum.

We might be able to pull a good stunt here: using a grabow deck we could change it into a poison deck in the following round, for example. Unless we want to use the poison deck, ofc.
We could also change between a fractal deck and a quint phase shield one, but we don't have the cards anymore.

We have 25 surplus cards, that means that we should all be able to do some tricks if we can build our decks right. Any ideas?

True, Isei.

Also, I think it's worthless trying to save many off elements cards from our decks. We can't make good decks with so few. We can get novas, shockwaves and purifies, but that's about it.

We have the chance to prepare some good decks for our next round, and although all our opponents have a wider selection of cards, the previous round left a lot of vaults exposed, and we can prepare our matchups better. Our vault has also been exposed, so a cool thing we could do is changing some of our decks with cards from the salvaging to be more unpredictable.

Can always depend on Xnoize to pull through with a win.
I've heard it cost him an arm, so he should be able to do this only once more.

So, team, any volunteers?

Game 1: awesome draw with 4 pends, I am fast but he is faster. An early arsenic and those dragons sent me to the grave while he was laughing behind a shield.

Game 2: another cool draw. I open with my forever alone frog and a dragon and start beating his health bar early-ish. I think I only had to use 1-2 bolts on him, the rest were used as CC.

Game 3: a decent draw with 3 pends, leading to deploying and early hax ice shield (75% activations). I had to discard early, as all my late game stuff was sitting in my hand. I went with a bolt over a dragon, which payed off as the dragon managed to deal 20 dmg. I then sat back and enjoyed having the upper hand, but he went on topdecking shields at the perfect moment and no more damage went through. He eventually decked me out 1 turn before I could grab enough quanta to bolt him... oh, did I mention that I lost this cointoss?

I've heard other teammates have had quite some luck this round... What RNG giveth, RNG taketh, I guess :-\

GGs, xn0ize. I hope to have a chance for revenge before this ends >:D

I will check the vault wizelsnarf

EDIT: it's perfect, the 7 cards we do not use are:
1 fog shield
2 wings
1 emerald pillar
1 flying weapon
1 deflag
1 frog

Awesome job!

wizelsnarf, we do not get to salvage. I actually asked ddevans about this.

I think our savages from now on should remain very focused, ie we'll be fielding 6 decks only, so they'd better be as good as we can make them. We'll have a sideboard of 7 cards that will not be used. Which ones?

I wish my timezone allowed me to discuss this stuff at this time, but I'm already way into my bedtime. See you a couple hours before the deadline!

Against death, I think we can repeat the last deck we used with a couple of modifications

It has trouble against the typical death rush, but is can counter stalling quite well. I wouldn't expect anybody to rush at a good speed this round, but I might be wrong.

About the darkness and aether matches, powering something with the mark alone is not an option, they LOVE pestal. What about putting to use our off-pillars and pends, or even using novas?

This could be good - or a complete failure. We get to use more novas so that we can keep them for next round, but I haven't tested this deck (Not enough time!). It'd be great if somebody could do it for me (quanta balance seems off for some reason). I think it can work, so here it is:

(We get to salvage some cool earth cards this round)

This round's event card effectively kills our hopes to use decently-built novabows, right?
I'm probably not the best advisor in here, but I think we should focus on control and healing this round. Does that sound good or is it complete nonsense?
If I'm right, then cool duos for this round could be: gravity (either wizelsnarf or wavedash), water and fire (bolt decks), pestosis, contrOwl, graboids/eqs/fatshields (?), RT spam + dragons or healing (ghosts?)...
We'll have to use all but 7 cards. This not only means we'll have to put key cards in decks where they can be lost, but also that our vault will be 99% exposed this round. I'm tempted to take a pessimistic point of view about our future over this data.
