I think that in this game every possiblity might be implemented (like this one). This would make a player to think about strategies around the card even when it seems that it doesn't have any.
This concept makes me think on other future cards like:
- Doomed relic (permanent): if you own this card this deals 5 damage points to you at the end of your turn.

@Oldtrees: or even you could have a darkness card named Traitor (or an ability with this name) that could target one ambush creature to deal damage to its owner. That would fit in the tactical/ambush concept.

but permanently burrow the permanent is like destroying it (but it ocupies a useful place). The intention of the card is, as I said, to represent the burrowing of treasures done by pirates.
I personaly think that it has more uses this way. In other words: if you use it to your opponent it spends one turn unburrowing and the perm is useless for that turn.
If I understand you well, you say that the opponent will not be able to unburrow it.
Is a very different mechanic and sure the cost will need to be increased.

You better look at the mechanics of posting new cards. You have some mistakes.

Anyway, your card is extremely OP. You just sacrifice one pillar to create a powerfull card (and also you get the quanta the same turn or three times as you say in the upped one, what is crazy). And you must explain what happens with "potions" that aren't permanents. Do they appear in your hand?

I recomend you to take a long look at the other players suggested cards to learn more about how to balance and post new cards.

if you fly a protected weapon it doesn't become immortal, so you'll still be able to fly a burrowed weapon and it won't be burrowed.
the only thing you can't do while burrowed is use it (it doesn't attack and you can't use its abilities)

I don't think that this is the best procedure as this card (the relic) can only be achieved by pvp.
I suggest to use the relic spell on your weapon to transform it into a relic blade. Also this can suggest you to apply to a new form of mechanic (or also a serie) of relics, as you can target with the spell creatures, pillars and permanents.

Really good job Oldtrees. Nice mechanic.
There are more tactics that could be used in this cards or in other series (applied to a creature with ambush).
- Poisoned attack (spell): target creature with ambush passive skill gains "add 1 poison damage after each succesful attack"
- Ride by attack (permanent): your weapon gains ambush and a second attack
- Charge (spell): target creature with ambush loses ambush but gains +5/+0 and a poison counter.
- Smart retreat (spell): your creatures don't attack this turn but gain ambush
- Sargeant (creature): spawn a 2/2 soldier with ambush.

Pirates like to burrow they treasures on a lonely island. So why not to be able to burrow your permanents (or the opponent's ones) to protect them? But also you won't be able to use them until you unburrow them.

The very important think IMHO is that the concept comes into the game. Both shall appear in the credit as one started the idea of the concept and the other applyed it to a new card.

but if you just quint the hidra it becomes a spawner of inmortal 5/1s. That is very dangerous and you can do nothing to prevent that.

on the other side, if the hidra is inmortal while there are heads on the field, you have to quint one head (or the hidra) to keep spawning. But the rest of the heads are still destroyables.

Maybe you could add Hyroen at the Idea's section. Is my suggestion for a good solution to avoid future discussions.  Of course that your cards are different, but both use the same basics that where introduced by Hyroen (as it seems).

Anyway, I'll be glad if this concept ever comes into the game.
