Series / Re: Tactics Set [Ambush & Wedge Formation]
« on: January 10, 2011, 04:08:13 pm »
Good question. I think that it counts as a single attack of the adrenalined creature for the ambush pourposes. So it's better to adrenaline the creature that performs the final attack.

EDIT: see my next post

I don't see it as an attacking creature. Maybe more as a permanent or a very tough creature (like 0/8).
But anyway, I like the concept.

As I said in a previous post, I love the idea of duality cards. Impressive and very well balanced.

Yeah, you resumed it very well. There are many loving combinations with this card.
I think that if you shokwave the martyr, even if the damage is above 3hp, the dying effect goes after all the damage is dealt. So it won't pass to the archangel.

I also have another creature in the forge called Tomb | Grave (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,14278.0.html) that could be a great combo with it.
Grave becomes the first creature to die, so you can use it with Martyr this way: play Grave and Martyr, immolate Martyr (it becomes an archangel), Grave becomes a Martyr and start again. You could pay the Grave with the Soul Catcher. And also there is another card I did called Fiddlers Green here in the light crucible, that can bless the archangel (because Grave is not targetable).

Thanks for your words.

Thanks! I'm very glad to see that you like it. I decided to put the 3 hp to make it not so easy to "transform". In return, the cost of the innocent is just two and a quintescence on the martyr keeps it to be target and from more obvious forms of killing it. But I'll think about what you said.

Again: thanks for your words.
If you want also to help, I have more cards (quantum pirate serie) that are still in preparation.

Indeed I don't want it to be in the crucible if you think it's usless. I put it here just to get suggestions to improve the idea. How do you think it could fit in air and in my quantum pirate serie.

The problem with this card is two fold in my opinion:

1. Not exactly sure why Water creature should reap the benefit from a Gentle or Strong Breeze. If they're underwater, why should the wind improve their offensive prowess?

2. Sky Blitz basically does the same thing, excluding the Water creature part...

Nonetheless, it's still approved for the Crucible.
1.- is for the pirate theme. Ships are affected by winds and they go by water.
2.- is much better to double the attack (sky blizz) than attack twice, because of the shields. This card is though for the pirates, to steal more quantum this attack rather than do more damage.

totally OP. It's easy to win with EM. You just play that on yourself the last turn and here you are. And obviously destroys the opponent healing: bye bye SoG, healing, miracle, feral bond, holy light, white nymph,...

if it can stop all of these cards, it may cost much more or do any negative effect on you.
First of all: "he target player Max HP is equal to his current HP+1" - to avoid direct EM
Then: "This spell consumes all your dark quanta left" - to avoid use it all the time
The cost should be a bit higher (Oldtrees should help better here).
And of course, delete that: "Put this card back to your hand" - this is a triumph, doing that every turn.

emmm are we talking about the same song? :D
The orinal song says two Turtle Doves. That is: tur-tle-doves. Ruby dragons (maybe I say it wrong) is ru-by-dra-gons. There is something wrong there. I thought it was quint-es-cence (3 syllables).
And I say Hor-ned-frogs (do I say it wrong?). The song says "calling birds" (ca-lling-birds) that is 3 syllables.
