Tech Talk / 3 Objects Out of Video Games or Anime
« on: April 30, 2011, 11:38:41 pm »
If you could take any three objects out of any video games or anime, which ones would you choose?
Rules:
1. It must not be living unless it is a pet that can be owned by the main character.
2. It can't be something invincible or make other things invincible. (No Anubis or Quintessence for you)
3. It can't make other objects.

I would choose:
1. A portal gun from Portal.
2. The Gomu Gomu fruit from One Piece.
3. A Death Note from Death Note.

I saw that the most recent post was in a thread about Chuck Norris and happened 42 seconds ago. Talk about total awesomeness.

How many pillars would you suggest? and What shield? Light has no good shields other than Hope, but Hope requires light emanating creatures.
EDIT: Actually, a Solar Shield would be useful because I require lots of quanta, so I will change that. And take away one dragon while adding on tower.
Solar Shield doesn't work while Sanctuary is in play. I suggest just another Pillar.
Okay, I will do that.

sanctuary does: protect you from discord and black hole
in exchange for: 1 hp regen and 1 more quanta to play
in comparison to: SoG

sanctuary is practical, but SoG in the high end is better to have if you do have some. if you don't, sanctuary does the job fine untill you do get some SoG. its neat for mono and duo decks.
Well Sanctuary is unupped. As you can see, the original poster made an unupgraded deck.
one more thing is that your deck has more hp and quanta production than any damage producing cards. you have more odds of having bad draws than getting you dragons or morning wood star.
It actually has too few quantum production cards. 12 pillars/pendulums can support decks with low cost cards, but not decks with 6 of the most expensive dragons. It's damage output is fine.

It's a nice deck (and you chose a good element) but sanctuary becomes much stronger with a good shield*. If the enemy has a lower damage output, sanctuary recovers a larger percentage of your lost health.

*A good shield is one that blocks more than 0 damage.

But Sanctuary can't be beaten by any decks that are based on any quanta negating cards which makes it better in many situations. I have 6 SoGs, but I think Sanctuaries are better if you have enough quanta.

Now that Sanctuary is sold in the Bazaar, I thought of a deck that does tons of damage while healing back all of the damage received. This deck is good in most situations.

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5la 5la 5la 5la 5la 5lh 5lh 5li 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 8pq
The blank ones are sanctuaries.

My favorite anime that I have watched is definitely One Piece(subbed, not dubbed). It is funny, action-packed, has good filler and fights, and has awesome characters. Zoro is my favorite because he is so awesome.

Oh, here's another.

The Soup Nazi from Seinfeld (using a denial deck)- "No quanta for you!"

Not fads, the t50 that are nice to put out farms join synchronized t50 farm decks:
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,20630.0.html

Check out the dates when the next rares come out.

Currently it's Owls Eyes/Vampire stilettos.

The two t50s I know that mostly follow the schedule are 10 men and deepdown.
That is useful to know. Thank you.

What weapons do you have currently? I've had some moderate success with Crusaders and Flying Weapon (can't wait upgrade it to Animate Weapon so I can make a mark-powered deck...)

It's really had to outrush Rushes, but a well-placed Lobotomizer or Owl's Eye can hurt them quite a bit. The upgraded Arsenics are nasty, unfortunately a bunch of unupgraded Arsenics in a flying deck aren't so effective by themselves.
I have at least four of every rare weapon, usually more. I don't use flying weapon decks very often however...

Right now it seems as if the fad is having the most annoying decks possible...
