The Dragons that I used were the Life one. Forgot the name o.o...hmmm you're right, poison and fire shields tend to shut me down ^_^"
They are just to make some damage if the opponent has shields or Poison/Fire Shield. Most of the time I use Adrenalined Frogs to do damage.
With 3~4 Leaf Dragons you can get at least one in time to play the life things in your hand. I tested with 2 and I get one soon enough several times.
You have the exactly same idea as me.I actually have tried using without any emerald pillars. 50% of the time I got little chance to maintain the leaf dragons long enough to use em to no chance in drawing them. Even with epinephrine it's way too slow. So the emerald pillars helped a lot.
But this deck really don't need any pillar. Every Ray of Light is equivalent to two Emerald Pillars.
Mark of Life just to give the quanta to the fisrt Leaf Dragon and nothing more.
Also 2~3 Hopes and 2~3 Leaf Dragons is enough if you made a 30-card deck.
I was testing this with Improved Heals instead of Miracles since with Miracles alone you don't get EM. And a couple of dragons as some tough hitters.
I got some pretty good results, but the deck could be improved.
which is greater than what golden dragon can achieve with the same combo I also tried something like this. Archangels are kinda nice, though they don't have much synergy with other cards.(exept their casting cost and doing damage)I agree. leaf dragons tends to get bounced or killed or frozen etc... so the emerald pillars helps for a backup plan. ^_^
Personally I think it shouldn't rely too much on getting leaf dragon. I like to think this sort of deck has potential.
The deck is running more smoothly now For edits, I'd recommend removing the Quantum Pillars & all the non-earth cards (including the Hourglass) + the Gem-finder. The Earthquake should either be removed or more added depending on personal preference and what you're playing vs at the time.
There's lot's of ways to build Shrieker rush, and it works great unupp'd or upp'd, so i'll just list all the cards I swap into mine and you can mess around until you find the build that suits you

0-6 Shrieker (Don't play too many of these unless you have a high pillar count (15+))
0-2 Long Sword
0/5-6 Earthquake (Lots or none. I prefer lots for PvP, and none for t50/ai3 farming)
0/2 Diamond shield (Again, these are only good if you play a lot of pillars, can be a great help vs some fast creature rush decks)
0-6 Rewind (These work best when used with earthquakes, but are still pretty strong without them)
I've also seen a few people running Antlions and Precognitions (only in the fully upp'd versions) tho I don't have much experience trying either of these.
