I'm not sure why pillar upgrades are considered less powerful than other upgrades.  Some cards are better to upgrade, but many have -1 cost which is the same as a pillar.  And since a pillar is more often going to be played first, a pillar upgrade is actually stronger.  You really don't need multiple upgrades for it to be effective.  You just need to draw the upgraded one (same chance as for any card you upgrade).

Plus pillars are extremely flexible.  Any pillar will get used in more decks than most other cards.

Just guesses but maybe immortal and devonian dragon are "older than time itself" and so can't come about through random genetic resequencing.

Scarab i guess is manufactured?  (by pharaohs??... like i said only guesses  :-\)

I also have a REAL WORK and probably I am more busy than you during the day.
I am an Industrial Engineer and work 10h per day and also am engaged (which takes some time of the day also :P).
What I want to say is that it's not only the time you spent but the way you spent your time.
Wow way to imply that your fiance/e is work.  You better hope s/he doesn't read this......

I'm still working on this.  Right now the most attractive options for me are (i use 1 2 ... 9 A B C for the twelve elements):
Option 1: (this is what we have been looking at before)

 I'm still investigating other options but these are the front-runners for me right now.  I plan to do a more general analysis before i commit to any one recommendation, but this may take some time so i thought i'd just give a quick update.  All comments are invited (as always).

Get an elemental mastery against a player in PVP1.
Beat the CPU using no towers or pillars.
These can hardly be called quests.  Most vets (and probably most newbies also) could finish both of these faster than they could wash the dishes or take out the trash.

I can see how grinding half-bloods could be a bit boring, but i think the quest would be fun in that you would get to learn a bit more about halfbloods and what deck would work well to beat one with a given name.

Hopefully any daily quests will change from day to day, so we won't have the same one each day (my opinion maybe others would disagree).

Maybe far far down the road (in hundreds of years even) we could look forward to an a.i. that keeps a database of commonly used player strategies and uses some sort of probablistic mechanism to adjust its play based on the cards it has seen.  (I.e. an a.i. that makes educated guesses about what the human's strategy is and reacts to it).

A practical (though still arduous) step towards this goal would be an a.i. that recognizes what cards are in its deck and plays accordingly, waiting for combinations and so on.  It would not be necessary (even if it would be nice) for the a.i. to actually analyze its deck.  Instead (at least at first), each deck could come with its own a.i. file that tells it how to play.  For example, a deck whose success is predicated on quinting its only creature could demand that the a.i. not play the creature without quintessence in hand and sufficient quanta.

Ambitious?  Certainly.  But i think we can set our sights on the horizon and aim high.

Just some of them, and I would never call it 'easy'. How many games would you need to get 12 of each rare avaliable on AI3? 20k games?
No idea but 1/1000000000000 chance seems a bit harsh.
