I only did about 10 today and won 3 times. There are more efficient FG decks out there tbh. This one is just fun! Also I don't think this deck is complete without a pandemonium of replace that thunderbolt.

Are you using this deck  to grind FG's?
It has netted me several wins but this deck heavily relies on the nymph and the shield to slow things down while i set up. Once it's down though and the FG doesn't have much perm control it's an easy win!

Theres nothing wrong with the decks themselves it is jsut the sheer repettivness of seeing a golem rush or a shrieker rush over and over again.
That is all I am saying, I made a bunch of decks an 80% of them were pretty original. Mind you not all of those were completely successful but they were fun to play nonetheless!

What i'm saying is that every deck has a counter in the end. It can be frustrating and irksome to fight them unexpectedly, but when you know they're coming, its a whole different story.
I totally understand! Having not yet participated in a tournament I can't really say I have experience but I can see how much of a mind game it is which already makes it fun!

My main complaint was towards random pvp though.  >:(

I have 3 purple nymphs, how would you recommend i tweak the deck if i would choose to make this and throw them in.
Wow lucky you! Well I would definitely take out the maxwell in place for a nymph.

I really don't think you need a 3rd nymph Tbh... Lucy was holding off destiny on her own!

But if you insist you can sub out the elf(which is purposely an elf to turn bothersome critters into abominations) for the third nymph but i would recommend taking out a shard of gratitude and thunderbolt for another pillar and quint.

Oh I would also take out the antimatter since that just seems redundant.

The only time Lucy has died was when she was hit by a RoF, plague or hit a spiky shield. Since she is unupped she was never targeted unless she was the only critter i had on the field(not that i would know that much about this, i almost always play her quinted) so if you feel that you don't need another quint just add in 2 pillars.

Again you are one lucky guy!

I mentioned this before but make Oty's die after 3-5 turns if they have nothing to eat. It makes really neat creatures like squid and rustlers pretty useless if you get a quinted Oty out.  Personally 5 turns is too long so 3 sounds good.

My problem isn't that I can't deal with them. Heck a bone wall with a few thunderbolts can stop a rush dead in it's racks.

I just hate the lack of creativity and the lack of fun that comes with it. I love strategic games to death even when I lose.

I miss being able to legitimately say GG since most games aren't.

From a competitive point of view I understand that getting monsters out faster = more damage = greater chance of winning.

BUUUT


It gets old... very fast. Especially in PvP where every other deck i encounter is a pillar-less golem deck or another variant of a rush deck.

The thing that irks me a lot is when people ask for PvP in chat using said rush deck(although i admit to doing this a few times when i just created it for testing purposes) for the sole purpose of destroying the opponent. Then there is the off chance that they will encounter another rush deck in which case it pretty much comes down to luck on who gets the better starting hand.

Looking back at it rush decks were probably created to counter the now heavily used SG deck(which is another headache on it's own but I won't touch on it here)

I guess what I am trying to say is... I long for good PvP where people actually have to think instead of just playing what they can as fast as then can.

What are your thoughts on not-so-recent the rush deck phenomenon?

I really don't see how it needs a nerf since there are so many ways around it already but I guess an upkeep cost is fair on the condition that it costs no more then 1  :air. I think wind decks are already pretty costly.

I just want to say I don't have any wind decks nor will I make one anytime soon, I just want to see wind decks get a little bit of a boost!
