Religion / Re: What Religion Are You Interested In?
« on: December 27, 2010, 01:29:00 am »
Any and all of them. I did a senior project on different religions and it sparked my interest for all religions. So far i've looked into early paganism (norse in particular) shamanism (norse and native american) buddhism, jainism, hinduism, taoism, shintoism, LaVeyan satanism, judaism, islam, christianity, thelemic/esoteric.

as for more philosophical ideas, been reading a lot of Freidrich Nietzche and Austin Osman Spare and Aleister Crowley.

Deck Help / Pillarless power deck
« on: December 25, 2010, 02:00:02 am »
This seems like an odd deck, but in practice it works surprisingly well, the overall strategy is simple, buff a single pegasus and dive for a quick win. this takes a bit longer to set up then say, a traditional pegasus buff deck, but is equally as effective

Wins on AI3: 17
Loss on AI3: 3

any ideas on this deck is appreciated.

Music / Re: What kind of music do you like?
« on: December 25, 2010, 12:21:21 am »
what kind of music do you like (2 links max per post)?

I like metal (and no its not just random screaming into a mic). The following are probably my two favorite songs, The below is a 13 minute long instrumental from equilibrium:

and a sick song from dimmu borgir:

awesome bands btw

as for me however, much more into underground black metal and death metal

might be considered "screaming into a mic" but really its an all out masterpiece

breaking the rules, but to good to leave out

Silence stops any hard CC against the Deja's. Good job ^^. Maybe a PU for some heavy hitter in some cases?
thought about PU, but usually fractal is enough, although if i were to buff the deja vu's PU would be the obvious choice, may try n see what i can get with that.

Issue Archive / Re: Cloak+steal

A little bit off-topic: should a mass CC (RoF) dispels the cloak? I think I caught this twice yesterday, but I might be wrong since I was not really paying attention and didn't test it again. :P
yes, all mass cc does.

Just tried it. It is surprisingly effective. It isn't incredibly fast, but it does put tremendous pressure on your opponent. Unless your opponent has a shield, expect to win.
o yeah i ran through the trainer on ai3 around 100 times, with roughly an 80-85% win average. the silence really messes things up at the beginning if i can use right away.

i originally had sundials to stall creatures, but still have problems with pc, thought about using  :fire mark and explosions in place of precog, and for cc, quint. that runs into the problem of fractal though. explosion sound good with  :fire mark?

A pretty straight forward deck, quick deja vu rush with aether stalling.

obvious weakness is simple shields (skull, titanium, dimensional, fire, ice, solar)

Used only in trainer against ai3 and thinking about pvp 1 and 2, thoughts, opinions and ideas?

Duo-Decks / Re: The Cat's Soul (New Card Testing)

lol yeah, i didnt think skeleton's would do much either at first but after including them, they add a decent amount, if even for a short time. plus if mass CC is used or a fire shield, major fodder for the vultures

im glad my deck helped you out.

Deck Help / Re: Looking for Opinions on an Aetherial Gravity Deck
« on: December 22, 2010, 06:18:08 am »
as far as black holes go, they are much more situational and harder to make work without a more specialized strategy. The dimensional shields however are much less of a sporadic choice because every deck will have creatures, whereas not all will use all 12 elements, but i can see how they would be useful.

One other thing i could suggest, is experiment with catapults, as having that unblock-able damage, especially with an armagio can come in handy in a last ditch effort to win.

Glad i could help though, am still tweaking it a bit in the trainer to see what i can come up with.

First thing i can say, is take out the dragons and add more armagios/chargers. Gravity dragons are the worst for their cost, and if your going for defense on the chimera, armagios are much more efficient. If damage, more chargers. The otyugh seems out of place, with there only being one, and may not be as essential to your deck if your going for rush. if going for control, more oty and no gravity pull. with the oty, a lightning can weaken most creatures to a workable level with oty. minus the black holes and maybe add 1 more shield. no short sword either, i would just wait and try and get another rare.

for now thats all i got, i shall test it in the trainer and see what i get and post a deck after.

Deck Help / Re: Please Help on my deck
« on: December 22, 2010, 05:00:07 am »
the best thing i can suggest for the second one, is to take out the abominations and add vultures to add up damage with the cats, while spawning skele's and buffing bonewall.

the only other thing i can think of, is take out all the death pendulums and add soulcatchers, reducing the size and increasing efficiency.

This is my schrodingers cat deck, fully upped but is just as well un-upped. it lacks CC, which you may or may not want. above all it is very effective against ai3 which is my main source of testing all my decks
