as far as number 6 goes, freezing a creature works, but another way i have found around it through extensive testing is if you cast poison even with an antimattered venomous creature hitting first, for some reason casting poison makes the poison hit before the creature attacks.

Duo-Decks / Gravity/Aether

I got the idea of making this deck from Essence's topic on building an effective and different deck

Wanted something that is small, but has good CC and defense, along with player control through the use of silence. messed around with it a lot in the trainer and am very satisfied with the result

It is fairly straight forward, using the gravity shield to block high defense creatures and using lightning to dispatch the rest. Chargers and Titans are the main source of damage and the silence allows time to set up the shield and zap anything problematic.

the original problem i had was far too much aether quanta generation and a slight lack of damage, hence the two phase dragons

It is very effective and simple to build, aside from the upgrades and titans.

any ideas/comments?

Known bug, Crusader doesn't get the momentum ability from Titan.

my bad

seems odd though that he wouldnt gain it, especially since it says he does

Playing against the ai3 opponent with light/air using crusader's, he endows them with my titan while i have a gravity shield, gains momentum, but is blocked by the shield.

Gotta go with aresenic, because essentially, its damage increases 1 a turn with poison, and in 5 turns is "stronger" then any other weapon out there. this is assuming no purify or shield is used (purify being rare)

Alright, so this is my first tournament so i need a bit of help.

which tournament chat room do i go to if i'm doing the eastern?

Both are in tourney room 1. Room 2 is there in case there are more than 50 participants. Since for some reason, a chat room doesn't allow more people inside a room :p

alright, next question.

to find my opponent, do pvp duel with their ign?

Like mentioned in the tournament rules (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,6997.0.html) you contact your opponent via chat pm, ask for their in game name and pvp duel them.

right off the bat, best thing i could say is take out the air pendulums, switch the mark to air and add 2 more water pillars, or death for poison, whatever works. more dragons and less icebolts also might help with damage but reduce CC, so more freezes maybe.

i will test in trainer and tweak it a bit to see what i can get

Edit 1: Taking out the bolts in favor of freezes along with an air mark helped fairly well, the added dragons helped only a little bit but the toadfishes combined with the chrysaora is usually enough.

this is the modified version, still testing other ideas however.
