Aether / Re: Your Favorite Aether Card
« on: May 06, 2011, 08:33:15 pm »
If you picked: (joking sense)

Aether Pillar: You thought that large pillar/tower of yours was a large diamond crystal, that or you were thirsty and though of ice.

Immortal: It says IMMORTAL, it doesn't die; OP!

Turquoise Nymph: like most things aether, she's like most girls you've met - from another dimension.

Quintessence: I'll make my own immortal thank you very much.

Lightning: pikachufan2164 says hello to your last 5 HP.

Parallel Universe:
Parallel Universe:

Dimensional Shield: "Can't touch this" (McHammer music plays in the background when you play this shield)

Lobotomizer: Yes now you can be a brain surgeon too! Call right now, and I'll triple your order of this one of a kind fantastic Lobotomizer! (batteries not included)

Phase Dragon: Most OP dragon in the game, you're guaranteed to win with 6 of these.

Spark: Burn or Blitz specialist, if you have 6 of this in your deck without immo/cremation or sky blitz you're pro, stop playing this game.

Phase Spider: You found out your opponent has acrophobia.

Fractal: Best wishing well ever: Now let's test money... food... that brand new car...

Mindgate: Because you rofl-ed when you found out he had 60 pillars in their deck.

Silence: Music to your ears! shhh! ---> but I... ---> SHHHH!! ---> I'm trying to ---> SHHHUSSSHLE!!!
You sir, are full of win.

Also, from what I hear, google-docs does not support Macroes.
The Statmasta needs a certain Macro to guarantee unadulterated, perfectly pro stats.
But is downloading and simply doing it on ones hard-drive really all that bad?
Google Docs has Macros.

It's not that bad, but  a tool that you could use with a regular browser without any downloads or additional software, would probably get much more users. If converting to Google Docs would be easy to do, you should definitely look into that, because currently you are leaving out two groups of users, which are:

A) Players who don't like to download stuff
B) Players who don't have Excel

I don't know the actual statistics, so I have no idea how many potential users are left out. But I do know that group B has more then a couple of members.
I use it on open office, you only need to turn macros on and i think it's the same as on excel.

What if you have the wrong map? You get lost, right?
There's no wrong map as long as you really believe in what you have chosen. It can be Jesus, Buddha, science, pink unicorn or nothing, if you live how you want to, there's nothing to regret.
I contest that claim:
So belief in a demonstrable false belief system (think self contradicting philosophy) is not a wrong map?
Nothing is fully true or false(demonstrable) or you can see it this way: nothing is really black or white, the point is to find your personal gray scale and be happy with it, without bashing other's  religions. You know about people paying for "miracle water" and such? It's not magic, it doesn't work but they're still happy with it. Because they believe in it, it's the good map for them.
Example of a demonstrably self contradicting set of beliefs:
It is wrong for others to take my things because I own them
AND
I may take things others own

Is this a good map? Is any map that claims A and ~A a good map?
PS: The claim A and ~A is false.
Good point, most(if not all) of the religions are self-contradicting themself at a point. I was just saying that anyone can believe in what he wants. I myself hate the fanatism of some people because "their God i better" but you follow the path(may it be one of the religions or your own one) you chosen, just don't let others to change it but you should still listen to their arguments and decide for your own.

There are many maps, to the same destination.
Maps being Religions, Destination being where we will all end up.
You can't know anything about the destination but you can believe in how it can be.
