Grid - Round 4

Round 4 : time's up !

Useful notes
    Yes, there are 5x Relic slots. No, that's not a mistake. Reverse Time and GotP have been Targeted a LOT.Some cards that disappeared in Round 1 are now back :) Don't wait for validation. I update it in batches, as I'm not always online. I didn't receive a single wrong pick in the last round, have confidence in them. Some forgotten Targets or Relics spent, but they're not as critical as picks.Malebolgia has retired from Grid, agentflare enters ! He'll receive card bans and score from Malebolgia.I picked 6 random Targets for the matches that didn't happen last round, and 2 Targets from Five In One's picks (he targeted 2 Relic slots, I didn't notice that).
Event : Place your bets !
    Bets ? Like in roulette ?Indeed. You'll have to make predictions in order to earn Relics.So, that's only luck-based ?Of course not ! There's no randomness in the Grid changes... but you can't control other players.[/list]Special Rules : If there's a Relic in the Bet slot you chose in Round 7 Grid, gain 3 Relics.

    You can choose 3 Bet slots. They can be any of them, Relic slots or Card slots. You'll gain 3 Relics for each Bet slot containing a Relic in Round 7 Grid. PM me your Bet Slots along with your picks, Targets and Relics spent.

    You won't be able to Target your Bet slots in Round 6.

    Here's a reminder of the slot picking and deckbuilding rules :
      No 2 picks in the same row or columnNo card slot you picked last round (see the ban list below). If it's now a Relic slot, you can pick itYou can use 3 upped cards in all your decks for each Relic you spendAny size, any mark, any Pillars and PendulumsCards from the slots you have chosen (not necessarily all), any number of copies of themDouble-check your picks : once you sent me valid ones, you can't change them.

    Another total win event! How can you come up with such amazing-ness?  How is each event better than the last? Tis questions that may never have answers.  But... I don't care.  This PvP event is just pure fun.

    X5 RELICS?!? :o

    Well, I know what 2 of my choices will be! :P

    Interesting event, I must say. (Now, how can I rig this later on... ::)) I wonder if there'll be events in later rounds where you have the possibility to lose relics. A roulette would be kinda fun as an event as well, or perhaps a lottery. With a lottery, 12 random slots could be chosen after a round and, regardless of winning or losing, players would gain some Relics depending on how many choices matched their own, with a larger bonus if the targeted slots are correct as well. It might have a cost if you'd like to try for it, though, say 1-2 Relics.

    Just some thoughts. Sorry for my randomness--I should probably try sleeping for a change.

    You can target them in rounds 4 and 5, but being able to Target them right before Round 7 is giving free Relics to winners.

    I thought of this as well initially but then I realized what has to happen for this strategy to actually work.  First there has to be a card in the slot at the start of round 6.  This is definitely not guaranteed.   Then you have to target the card, which may end up being useless to you or blocking out multiple times relic cards or much more useful cards.  Finally, you have to actually have to win your match.  This is hardly giving away relics.  I don't have a problem with the rule that you cannot target your bet slots in round 6, but it also could add some interesting strategy and I don't think would be game breaking if you did allow it.

    Wait... you can hold off on placing bets until later rounds?  Wouldn't it make more sense to have them all due this round?  Then it is a true gamble.  If this is not the case I would like to rescind my bets until further notice...

    You must say your bets in this round. The problem is that if you can choose your bet slots as targets in round 6, there is a pretty high chance of getting 9 relics for free.

    I'll clarify.

    Your 3 Bet slots are 3 cells, 3 positions on the Grid. What's in there may vary, and if there's a Relic in a Bet slot you chose in Round 7, you gain 3 Relics.

    Moreover, you don't have do show your bets. I'll keep them secret until Round 7.
