Grid - Round 2

Round 2 : time's up !

Useful notes
I swapped the numbers and letters in the Grid ! Now it looks better in Excel/GDocs/Calc/other !Summary of Round 1 is available. You can see the picks of everyone in Round 1 !See below for the standingsmajofa raised a flaw in the rules : nilsieboy and DevilLoss, who didn't send me their picks, have no bans (you can't pick the same card two rounds in a row). They'll get the bans of their opponent from last round. See the list below.
Specific bans

nilsieboy can't pick the following cards :
Arsenic - Immolation - Spark - Solar Shield - Rustler - Nova - Fallen Elf - Devonian Dragon - Mummy - Parallel Universe - Phoenix - Parasite

DevilLoss can't pick the following cards :
Arsenic - Immortal - Plague - Solar Shield - Shield - Thunderbolt - Chimera - Bone Wall - Mummy - Fractal - Minor Vampire - Precognition

Event : Bigger is better !
Ah, shiny Relics... finally they're here. You know, you can gain even more of them if you play big decks.Don't you think there's too many restrictions ?Are you kidding ? That's only the second round !...
Special Rules : Gain 2, 4, 6 more Relics if you play only 35+, 40+, 45+ cards decks.

Simple again, if you win your duel AND if ALL the decks you played...
have 35 cards or more : you gain 2 extra Relicshave 40 cards or more : you gain 4 extra Relicshave 45 cards or more : you gain 6 extra Relics
Of course, if you're playing a big deck and get countered, you can reduce the size of your next decks. The size of your deck is always, always free. You can also completely ignore the round event. Do whatever you want.

Here's a reminder of the slot picking rules :
No 2 picks in the same row or columnNo card slot you picked last round. If it's now a Relic slot, you can pick itYou can use 3 upped cards in all your decks for each Relic you spendAny size, any mark, any Pillars and PendulumsCards from the slots you have chosen (not necessarily all), any number of copies of them
PM me your picks your three Targets and Relic spent before your match (the sooner, the better) !

Isn't the result of the last match that is yet to be played going to change the grid a bit from the winners targets?

Also in the picking rules reminder it doesn't mention that you cannot pick any cards you picked last round.  I can definitely see this coming up.

Nope. I picked 3 random Slots (C2, F2 and K1) without waiting for the result.

Ok.  One last thing, I targeted horned frog last round and I won but it is still there.

I copy-pasted too quickly from the Round 1 post, but I'd like to give some informations :
Anytime before your match, you can chage your mind and send me a new PM with edited picks.Once you sent me valid picks, you can't change them. Some players already sent me their picks, without including their number of Relics spent. Ok, you have few Relics right now and no need to spend them, but without mentioning them, I'll consider you spent no Relics this round (which can be perfectly intended) :)Preparing a new Grid is very stressful ^^I'll write Round 1 summary... soon. There won't be Nymphs in the Grid.
Can we strike the rule that people can change picks?  I'm just afraid people will start copy pasta'ing other's decks as the battle results are posted.  I still feel there should be a short deckbuilding phase with a deadline for deck submissions.  I keep seeing people contacting others (including myself) stating they need an extra day or so to build decks, which is cutting it close since battle phases are only 3 days.

For the picks switching... you have a point. I'm always assuming good faith, but in a competitive event... that's not useful. Fine, I'm striking the rule. Once you sent me valid picks, you can't change it.

In the original rules, there was 2 days for picking and 4 days for battles but il was way too long. Maybe I should add a 24 or 36-hour deadline for the picks. As it would be an important change, I'd like to have the advice of the other players.

As for the Shards... they won't appear in the Grid, like Nymphs.

In my opinion, 24 hours for deck submissions should be fine and keep the event moving along.  This is easy enough if a pm is sent to participants to let them know the countdown has begun.

I'm against 24 hours, it happens that you can't connect for a day.
