coinich 2 Five in One 3

I predicted Pandebonium or a Firebolt/Bonewall deck.  What I found was CP/Deathstalkers, which I could/did handle, and Antimatter, which destroyed me.  For the coup-de grace, Five in One played an Antimatter/LS deck.  Had he not gotten 6 Entropy pillars in his opening hand, I might've had a chance.  I should've picked Antlions as well; might've had better results with those.  My deck was below, with variations in pillars, Purifies, and Earthquakes. :(

Again, that was a great match, coinich! I hope to face you again in another PvP Event soon!

Kakerlake 3 - 1 truddy02

I don't have the exact code for the first 3 games because I was editing on the fly to try to adapt it but it was approximately this:

Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vg 4vg 4vg 4vg 4vg 50u 50u 50u 50u 52o 52o 52o 52o 52u 52u 52u 52u 52u 52u 6u2 6u2 6u2 6u2 6u2 6u2 718 718
I changed the pillar and pendulum count a few times.
This was my deck for the last game.
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vg 4vg 4vg 4vg 4vg 718 718 718 718 718 718
Picks:
J1 2x Relic
I2 2x Relic
G10 Empathic Bond
F4 Holy Cow
H5 3x Relic
A6 3x Relic
L7 Holy Cow
D8 Death Stalker
B9 4x Relic
K3 Poison (target)
C11 Chaos Seed (target)

Had him outdecked in the 1st.  By the time the 4th came around I was too lazy/disheartened from being down 2-1 to care to change.

Game 2 I drew mostly pendies all match.  Was dominated.  Game 3 I kept the bonewalls to see if it was worth it to block arsens.  I was sure it wasn't, but lost the coin toss & subsequently the game because of it.

Bone Wall – F1
Arsenic – E8

The_Mormegil 3 - 1 kirchj33

Awfully similar picks. First game I got kinda countered, too much poison to keep up. Second to fourth game I outrushed him. Last game was especially close, won by 2 hp.

Oh, and we had a desynch, but he gave me the match. I won three turns after the desynch and he drew 2 pends and an arsenic, so he couldn't possibly do anything.

A6 - 3 Relics
B9 - 4 Relics
I2 - 2 Relics
H5 - 3 Relics

D10 - Holy Cow

1-3 against napalm, her picks had an advantage.

first game she had a very slow draw were i managed to kill her, second game she had better draw and killed with bolt/poison.

changed tactic, less bonewalls and some light for draw speed and i hoped to outrush her with poison that way, didn't work.
lost both games.

gg's nilsie!

Napalm ~ 3
nilsie ~ 1

Once again I was a dreadfully boring opponent. I gotta catch up with on those Relics somehow! 1 functional deck and the rest was relics. Upgraded Arsenic was my best friend here. In 2 of the 3 wins, I got one out early and nilsie found no bonewall. Definitely worth investing some relics to gain some more.

Game 1 - Too slow of a start vs like 5 poisons by turn 4. I left him with 1 health.
Games 2-4 - I had better hands in all of these. Basically, Rush a Bonewall to prevent Arsenic from being a problem and then play poisons, saving Lances and Bolts for the final blow. I simply had more damage potential and his quick draw scheme ended up with a full field of Pillars, but no poison :\
