Game 1: I saw aether mark and was afraid of Dims, and rightly so. However, it turned out his only other cards were Mindgates, useless when my sole attackers were Fire Eaters and were fueled solely by my Mark. He quit about halfway through seeing he couldn't win.

Game 2: Forgot to use upped cards, though it didn't matter. BEs were for fear of Dimshield deckout, since I had no other way around it. Saw Light mark and Water pends, immediately assumed a sanc Stall with Bolts. I was right. Turn 3 Glory came out and when it got close he started to bolt away all my high-attack Eaters or the ones with BE to keep his Sancs up. His Glory eventually got close and he bolted me for the finish.

Game 3: A clunky quadra indeed. My Fire Eaters died to easily in the last match, so I beefed them up a lot. After a ton of Desyncs/invisible hand bugs we got a game done, one where he didn't get an early Glory out. I kept my 2nd Eater at 2 attack for BE when I had the quanta, which RR predicted, and froze. The 2nd one was also frozen, as was the 1st again 3 turns later. At this point I figured he'd be running out of Lances and I could probably win. That's what ended up happening.
Game 4: Went kind of similarly, although he had Devourers and DLs instead of the Ice Bolts. I had a ton of quanta early on which screwed any chance of denial, and managed to topdeck a Fire Eater pretty fast. My 2nd Eater, though, I kept at 2 attack, since I know RR is a good player, he'd be waiting for me to put it to 4 attack and then rush out his Sancs, but I left it at 2 to be ready. Sure enough, right before GG, he played out 3 Sancs, which I began destroying. AT this point I had only 1 attacking Eater, with 20+ attack and 23 health. He double-DL'd it for the kill. After that it was a race between my 1 growing Eater and his Glory, which I won at 2 hp, praying for him not to draw another DL.
