Yup, that game was quite sad, as my greed (with Kaker's help) got me defeaten with no mercy. I knew that most players would pick EQ for it fulfills this round special rule, and yet decided not to pick Enchant Artifact, going for rainbow (and relic) instead. I got what I deserved, having my pillars crushed over and over again... I only managed to play one Tear (Auburn) and Egg (Forest Spirit), unable to fuel anything else. The gargoyles took me down quickly and painfully.

After what happened during R1, I decided to make my rainbow more colorful, decreasing EQ's effect. There were actually no EQ's, but didn't miss them too much. I started with Alfatoxin, Tear, Egg and Wings - being able to start playing them around 3rd-4th turn. By that time Kake got Maxwell and egged Cockatrice. Poisoned his demon, hoping to lock his field, but poor little cell got sucked into timespace. Same happened to another poisoned Max, allowing me to finally launch my counterattack. Mingated his demon and played two Golems in one turn. This let me keep enemy demons at check while growing my sweet lil' golems.

Once again, i got slaughtered along with my shattered pillars. Similarly as in R1, got quanta denied, with alfatoxins, parasites and firestorms unable to touch the Gargoyles.

At this point I abandoned all of my sorry premade decks and tried to improvise. With great effect, must say. I came to conclusion that I suck at rainbows and cannot create anything even partially useful, so I could as well let the opponent make my deck for me
. The game was really fun, as I was throwing everything back at Kakerlake. Multiplied by three (most of the time). Unfortunately, I missed all but one Gargoyles so my damage output was a little crippled, but compensated it with duck shield. I completely negated his quanta income, but as I had only one Gargoyle, couldn't kill him and had to wait till deckout.

Tried to use same concept as before, just adding some damage output. I could have won that, but really messed up the deck. Not enough pillars for Golems, useless Pulvy and thinned number of EQ's backfired on me completely. Kake started playing EQ's very early, yet again crippling my pace. I eventually fell before superior quanta control (and Gargoyles, btw)
All in all that was a great match, despite (or because of?) trolling each other with quanta control
Ggs Kakerlake, t'was pleasure to lose to you
