Round 4 discussion

Thanks for the work on deck building Captain (especially since I'm tied up these next couple days).  Quick comment: the Event card is only for a Soldier, so we couldn't bring the 9 upgrades to that match and still have the flexibility. Only using 6 upgrades weakens the deck a bit, especially if it drops to 3 with the discards (vs. a general with 12).

Captain - can you handle the vault operations? It doesn't look like I'll be able to do it this round.

Also, I think if we're going to run the nova-grabby vs. entropy, we need to pack some PC - either the deflags or the steal + a deflag or two. Unless you want to switch to the pulvy duo.  Sorry again that I don't have time to help out with testing.

I'll try to find time to post some decks tonight.  I'm not sure either of the options presented there will work in our matchups; the first might have consistency problems, although I will concede it will be great on a good draw, and the second seems just weak to me.  I think we can do a lot better for a grabbow, and I'm having trouble seeing what the fire deck will beat.

Sorry for the confusion this past round and that I wasn't able to put the vault together in time - I should have given you guys more notice to handle that, and I apologize for not doing so. 

When I signed up for war, I said that I'd help until my team was eliminated and I'd like to help us work towards the goal of not coming in last place.  I think we still have some good potential to do so, but we have to be very careful about this next round. We will field two decks, and with a vault size of 98 we have to win at least 1 to stay in (98- 24 + 6 = 80).  Winning both would be awesome and give us a good chance to let Life, Earth, or Air fall first. 

In terms of discards for our DBH deck, it is a very tough call as it has components that we need for a DBH or Grabbow (but that's probably weakened to the point of being unusable).  If we go with DBH, we should probably save the 3 discords and 3/4 black holes which should still make it viable.

Depending on what we want to field next round, for the light/dark salvage, it might be good to get 3 steals + a vamp dagger + 2 nightmares. If we end up not using them, we can convert to pillars/pends. We could also transmute 2 or 4 of these to get 1 or 2 more Black holes if we want to run DBH next round.

For the bone wall discard, it it probably worth it to keep 6 chargers or if there is a great deck idea to use them, keep 3 chargers and 3 dragons.

I think our strongest deck possibilities for next round will likely be Fractal guards/chargers, Cata-titans, or DBH.  We can see who we are facing, but all three are good decks and are possible given our vault. We could also put together some Rainbow, but I'm not seeing too many good possibilities for that.

I definitely agree on keeping the fractal and catatitan decks if possible.  DBH is a bit more iffy, but if possible, it would be a good one to try and keep, too.  For the light/dark salvage, I would be very happy with the salvage you listed, and the only possible change would be maybe -1 nightmare +1 dagger, since we've got some nightmares already, but the way you have it is also fine.

Yeah, I thought we had some nightmares as well, but they aren't showing up in the vault (the two there are from the most recent salvage that I've already entered for round 4).  I think they might have gotten transmuted into pillars/pends before round 3.

In that case I'd say do the salvage as you suggested already; the nightmares are pretty solid cards, particularly against certain decks like fractals.
