Round 2 Discussion

We can probably spare a titan or two (I think we had like 12 in the vault? Can't see from work) but we'll want to keep a catatitan playset as well as a few more, since many decks will want to run one titan.  We could also dump the hammer for one card.

Less than 17 hours - is anyone else going to chime in here?  Should I just go ahead and handle the vault conversions?

Nobody else seems to be around, so I'd say go ahead and do it.  Use your own judgement based on our discussions.

OK conversions are all taken care of and our Vault still has some nice possibilities.  Any other comments or other suggestions on deck choices for each match?  Any modifications to any of the decks?

Who should be our grenadier?  our lieutenant?

I traded the conversion of Flesh Spiders for Freezes because I am going to be using them in my Bonewall deck.  I suspect Ghostmare or even something with RT strength, and it 's cheap creatures prove it difficult to slow down, and the bonewall helps negate a ton of damage.

I apologize for not being as active as I hoped to be this round for deck building.  Next round I should be fully active again.  I ask that as many as possible make decks for the others, as we have a short amount of time left.

I still stand by all my deck choices I posted earlier, with minor tweaks as neccessary for the matchup or required by discards.

OK - I just filled everything in per Dragon's suggestions - Made Dragon the Grenadier, made Drake the Lieutenant.  Please check your decks (Sky - I changed yours to the phirebolt per Dragon's suggestions).  Good luck everyone.  Had to convert a few more cards, but tried to preserve a few of our hidden decks still.

Grenadier should be given to whoever we think is most likely to win given the matchups.  I think making it vs team water using DBH is a great choice.  For lieutenant, I'm not sure I have an opinion on where to put it.  I'd probably pick darkness or life, myself.

OK team, we got our first win, and some nice salvage that will come with it.  I'd like to get the 3 fractals for sure.  For the other three cards, the heals, Frogs, and silences could all be useful.  I'm leaning towards the silences as I think they might splash better than the other cards given our vault, but what do you all think?

OK, we didn't do as well as we hoped this past round and our Vault is going to take another big hit.  Since there's not an order for submitting changes (it can all be done simultaneously), I say that we figure out which decks we want to field next round (only 5 this time) and then decide on discards/conversions.

The 21 discards for the Phirebolt deck will make it unusable... we can probably still salvage the DBH, but it will hurt our supply of mercs, chargers or nymphs.  The discards this round are very tough.


the 3 fractals from the salvage could go towards a chargetal deck, which might be nice.  The other three salvaged cards can likely be converted to pillars/pends as needed.

Also, just as a heads up, I'm going to two conferences over the next two weeks (both are from Wednesday through Sunday).  I should be able to log on and help out, but I likely won't be as active this round or the next.

We are absolutely salvaging those fractals, as that's one of the key cards I wanted in our original vault.  The rest... yeah either the silences or conversions most likely.  I can't see the rest doing too much else for us, although perhaps the heals.  Frogs aren't going to really help I don't think.  When I get home tonight I'll look at what we can weed out.  What I will do is try to redesign totally new decks based on our vault, and discard anything not used, since our decks are obviously not doing very well.
