I'm not quite sure what to do vs. Life.  My first instinct is to play a neurotoxin deck to counter rushes, but that assumes they're gonna rush.  They might go with life scorps, or play an Eldinis deck, or perhaps something else entirely.  Gonna think about this for a tad.

Neuro's used. Life doesn't have many fliers, what about wings + oty? Counter = dragons, so why not congeal + chargers? That'd leave you vulnerable to most rushes, so back to winged otys... congeal + chargers + otys?

EDIT: Just realized Quantum might run freeze/shockwave + toads, might need to reconsider my deck.
EDIT2: I'm thinking Quantum might run something like this:
Code: [Select]
5i7 5i7 5i7 5i7 5i7 5i7 5ie 5ie 5ie 5ie 5ie 5ie 5ol 5ol 5on 5on 5on 5on 5on 5on 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5puAny ideas as to how to counter it?
EDIT3: Wings + Titan (non-flying) should counter it, but will leave me open to almost any other air deck >.<
EDIT4: Crap, thought of another counter: lobo (possibly flying), wings, phase spiders >_>
EDIT5: If quints are avaliable, then I could add those and run aether mark, but I might need to either remove one flying pulled titan or add another immo-fire eater combo, and make my deck fatter >.<

Why is there no fractal in the vault? Fractal chargers FTW.
The only viable use of fractal would be Fractal ELITE chargers or Fractal Guards, both only usable by the master. What's the whole point of putting it in, then?

And please ask these kinds of questions on the vault topic, not on the deckbuilding and clogging the thread.

Well, my deck will probably depend on what cebra and 918273645 feel they need to defeat their opponents. I feel like I can have many options with the 3 upgraded cards I can use.

With Death they can basically go two routes. One is all out player killing with dragons and poison. Another is defending by killing creatures and killing you with poison slowly.

Against both decks Purify works really well alongside some creature destruction with Gravity Pull (because Otyugh might not get big enough to eat dragons). The problem with Gravity Pull is it must be used with creatures who don't have momentum which means we can get blocked by Bone Wall and all the creature killing will feed the Wall....

They won't have any healing (most probably) so a semi-stall deck relying on Titan to deal all the damage can work. Black Holes to heal and deny them quickly snowballing their poison stacks. I can also use 2 Amber Nymphs.

Ok, this is going to be my deck. It´s pretty stable and can completly shut down the opponent if I get a lucky starting hand.
I know I lost against you Memorystick...but i´ve got a really bad hand. Seriously.

Maybe some PvP-Testing against specific decks would help to improve our decks?
Definately agree.  If anyone ever sees me in chat or anything, I would be happy to help with decks by making potential opponent decks.  Also, I would like to test my deck against decks too.

Does anybody have any suggestions for my deck? I'm trying to add in some chargers, but it seems to be easier said than done. Do I really need the chargers? Opinions?
Code: [Select]
55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55p 55p 55q 55q 55q 55q 55q 55r 55r 576 576 576 576 576 576 576 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rt 5rt 5rt 5rt 5rtEDIT: Momentum is very important as it can be used on the Oty's as well, so I'd rather not lose any of those, and I really need a scorp in the first 9 cards very consistantly, so it's hard to get rid of those as well. At this point I'm looking at -2 Pendulum +2 Pillar -1 Scorp -1 RT +2 Chargers

EDIT: The aforementioned modifications make the deck work much better vs AI3's. Now I need to play test it vs one of you guys. I figure that my biggest weakness is a light/water deck, which is unlikely. Any other Light/??? decks that could potentially cause a problem? Fire could pack rage potions and deflagrations, which could hurt. Thoughts?

So, revisiting Memory's Match up, we've jointly come up with this:
Code: [Select]
55m 55m 55t 55t 55t 55t 55u 55u 55u 55u 576 576 576 576 576 576 576 576 576 576 576 576 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f9 5f9 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fc 5lg 5lgThis is a version I just created that's similar to the one we tested, but with a lot more pendulums. Not enough of them cause bad draws. This needs to be refined a lot.

Basic idea:

Armagio: These may need to be ousted, but they do provide an additional 50 hp. Helpful.
Gravity Pull: This is this decks trump card. Not only does it kill off pesky FFQ's, it also destroys flying Owl's Eye's. Very helpful.
Graviton Fire Eater: These can become a pretty hard hitting source of damage, and take 2 hits to kill. Very Helpful.
Deflagration: These get rid of shields OE's that aren't brave enough to face up to gravity pull, and the possibillity of Empathetic bond in a FFQ deck. Situational.
Immolation: Can help get out phoenixes faster, but with a lot of pendulums early, not so helpful. Situational.
Pheonix: A pretty hard to kill damage source that can come back to bite them in the you-know-what.
Reflective: This removes the hurt from UG. Very helpful, yet situational.

"Of course you should fight fire with fire. You should fight everything with fire."

After testing with Memory, we added 2 Merc's and took out 2 black holes.

PF, I suggest you to use a discord/BH deck. Life does not have permanent controls, and even if it does by splashing other elements, multiple discords could make them useless pretty easily.

Code: [Select]
4vl 4vl 4vl 4vl 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55l 55l 55l 55l 55v 55v 55v 55v 55v 55v 568 576 576 576 576 576
(tell me whether you have the nymph or not)

And following Jumba's suggestion, I designed his deck for him:

Code: [Select]
55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55l 55l 55n 55n 55s 55s 55s 55t 55t 55t 55t 5i7 5i7 5i7 5ia 5ia 5ia 5ia 74b 74b 74b

918 shall be using a wings deck.

Code: [Select]
55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55n 55n 55n 55n 55n 55n 55r 55r 55s 55s 55t 55t 55t 55t 576 576 576 576 5og 5oo 5oo 5oo 5oo 5oo
(couldn't do much testing for this deck. help, anyone?)

hmm or maybe we could switch 918 and PF's decks
