Round 1 Battle Analysis

This is a thread to post a summary of your battle for everyone.  Try to include the strategies the opponent was trying to use and any special tactics or moves they did that we may not have expected or should keep in mind for the future rounds.  This is also a place to discuss strengths or flaws of your deck or admit mistakes the led to defeat or celebrate outstanding moves that got you the win.

And we can all be cheerleaders and grief counselors as necessary too

Can we please stop being so careless with our comments in threads and in chat?  We've already had one person basically tell everyone in a thread that we have no immolation decks and another in chat telling everyone that Rewind is our biggest problem.  Maybe in the long run it doesn't matter but let's try to exercise a little more discretion ok?

Just be careful, last war we had a bad vault, if we spill secrets this war we might as well throw in the cape and take last place.

+ my battle vs higurashi. She spams nova. HUGE. and TU grabs were half of what we expected.

I won a game out of 3 =(.

Aether: Rushes(for leader i think) if not for momentum, they might have use stall. EQs.... they might have denial decks.

something to think about: very few teams used novas against us, fearing of black holes, I think a black hole deck next round might just be great (they know we don't have that much BH then), unfortunately, we don't have many

Then you lose 6 for upgrades, plus 6 more for losing.  It just means losing hurts more.  Plus I don't think extra upgrades would have helped in most of these matchups.

Yea. It's not like a fully upped discord/BH is gonna beat a sanctuary deck. 3~4 of our duels were perfectly countered, especially mine, up to the point where i wondered for a sec if we have a spy in our midst or something.

Don't worry; it is from round 3~4 that losses actually mean a lot. Just like how acceleration and overdrive works, we may start slow, but we'll gain speed and end up winning
