Also, why should we do it? The answer is simple:

Any other way we lose. If we keep just making decks based on whim or what we think will work against an element, it will end up not working. See: My last match with aether. Pestal was one of the only counters I thought they might bring to it, and they brought it. All it will do is end up making our vault more and more disorganized. I realize I may not have been a part of the past war (or two?) but in the other war I participated in Earth started out 24-0 I think, undefeated through four rounds. Instead of doing what we're doing now -- using cards in our vault to just make haphazard and different decks every match based on our opponent -- we just made a bunch of decks at the start. Instead of having a vault of cards, we had a vault of decks. If we lost a match it was "so be it - we can't use that deck anymore." Granted, salvaging helped us get spares and such so that wasn't always the case, but that's the general idea.

And that's what I'm trying to do here. Change our vault of cards into a vault of decks, which offers more organization. Much more. 1 Loss = Loss of deck, but +6 spares. 1 Win = +6 spares.

All of these decks have their own strengths. And remember that all elements can do a variety of things -- aether isn't confined to phase shield stalls, and probably doesn't even have more than 1 or 2 decks classified as such. Look at our grabow for an example - I'd say earth stars in that deck more so than gravity. That's why just building decks based on what element we're playing is stupid. All it does is make our vault more and more disorganized and eventually forces people to take very impaired decks (look at how many pendulums our current vault has).

The exact content of the decks can change; this is just one example of how to make our vault work. All I'm saying is we need to choose 6 decks and live or die by them. And you can't switch cards around between decks once we've decided on them; that ends up messing it up. You can switch cards out with cards in our leftovers, but doing so between decks can screw up the deck you trade with for a round. And even if you *think* it's great for both decks for a single round, unless it makes both decks completely better overall, don't do it. Because then if one deck ends up losing it gimps the other deck.

That's all I'm saying on the subject. If we don't go my route, so be it, but know that I object heavily.

Well mostly because holy lights aren't useful in any of those six decks, same with RTs (grabows use time for evolve). We do, however, have a deck that uses earth (multiple decks in fact).

That said, which cards we trade in don't really matter so long as they aren't needed for any of the decks.
