Doesn't this topic need to be locked or moved since it's no longer 'in development'?

I think the wording on this really needs to be clarified, it sounds really first-draft-ish.

Here's what a player might want to know that the card doesn't explain:
- What happens to my other creatures?
- Does the Chimera get my other creatures abilities? All of them? If not, which ones?
- What about poison counters or steam tokens?

Something like "Destroy all of your creatures and create a Chimera with their combined attack and hit points. Chimera has Gravity Pull and Momentum." would be a lot clearer.

IIRC, it doesn't destroy the creatures, it combines their stats. No epic bonewall for you.

Well there you go, that's another thing that needs to be clarified. Imagine if you didn't follow the card development on the forums and the only thing you saw was that description. Would you understand how it worked?

It "combines" them.  They do not produce death effects.  Every creature on your side of the board, burrowed or immaterial.

I tested it in the trainer, and poison counters do not carry over from the eaten creatures into the chimera.

Can the new creatures be selected when using Fate Egg or mutation? Because it would be a tragedy if a fate egg hatched into a chimera when you didn't want it to.

In fact, you really wouldn't want Fate Egg to turn into most of the new creatures. Only Forest Scorpion is really useful at all in a deck that isn't designed to work with it.

If a mutation can form as a chimera, then is combine active or passive (i.e. will the mutant have the ability) if it doesn't then what are the stats based on?

Yes, all of new creatures except Chimera can be hatched or mutated into.  And the reason for that you guessed correctly: chimera is a passive skill.

As far as the 0 attack new creatures, luckily Mutation gives them a new skill and sometimes even attack.  The poisonous (when devoured) and voodoo skills are passive and remain, as well.

Like you said in the Fate Egg thread, Fate Egg has taken a hit because of the new cards.  But it did get a tiny buff because zanz did remove Fate Egg from the Hatch list, so no more Russian Doll scenario.   :)

Rewinding chimeras is very satisfying :)
Once i had an opponent who wiped his side of monsters (full with goodies and completely quinted) for a chimera.
He somehow didn't notice the sundial played by me?
I'll never know, because he quit the match before i could ask him.  :))  :))  :))
Next turn, i rewound the chimera, played it on my side (mindgate), and won the game.
If he didn't play the chimera, he probably won.

That win was really epic. O_O
