HMMM, if super nova takes adds 2 quanta to each element, why should black hole take away three?
Because although it look like it, its not supposed to be the opposite of nova/supernova. Plus only taking away 2 each would be kinda weakish.

Well, then.  With this and Black Hole, my pet deck strategy of trying to make a half rainbow deck feasible now has two cards specifically designed to stop it.  Ah well...I'll think of it as a Purify to poison decks, I suppose.

So, for balance's sake, when and how is Earth/Gravity denial ever going to be dealt as harsh a counter, I wonder?  ^.^ Heh heh...

I love it, but I think it's a bit overpowered, expecially if taken at the beginning...

In the hand of a FG (Like Dark Matter) it's pure brokeness...

Maybe making his skill more expansive?

I got one of these a while back and use it in my rainbow against ai5, it wrecks.  For some reason the AI thinks a fallen elf or most mutants are a bigger threat than the nymph, so i just get to smash on their quanta turn after turn.  Once I got it out against Chaos Lord when the lord had his dim fields up, so each turn I stole 36 quanta (equivalent to doing 36 damage) and healed 36.  It we like having a vampire with 36 damage per turn :P.
Its kinda a shame that the upgraded version is practically the same as unuppgraded though.

I like this one. With her sister the purple nymph, they saved my life many times. They are a good combo.

this card is pretty beasty!
mid-late game it is a source of healing
early on however is a good way to deny the enemy of quanta.... mix a few of these and BHs ( :gravity ) with EQs ( :earth ) and you have a solid mana drain deck!
for added effects add in Pests

Challenge: Can anyone make a decent quanta absorbing deck with decent win rate against HBs?
To include such cards as: Black Hole, Gravity Nymph, Pests, EQs etc

also you can link to pages that already contains a deck like this

I have recently been endowed with two of these babies, but I have yet to find a use for them.  I've seen a few decks around, but nothing worth pursuing.  Does anyone have a good idea to incorporate a pair of these guys into a deck?
