I know the Dragons aren't Necessary, I swap a couple extra Otys in most of the time but this is how I ran it today.
32 card total helped once from a deck out.

Stats threw 100 Top 50 games (no farms) Not the Fastest Deck by anymeans but fast enough.
77-23 77% split with everything or better today 41% EM rate 

12-12 vs speed life
4-2 vs Lava Rush
8-3 vs Pestal (fractcal Pest)
2-0 vs Mono Aether (both EM)
4-2 vs Speed Darkness
2-1 vs Fire Rush

And Finally The reason this deck is sucessful
46-2 vs Rainbows with 39 EM (thanks TheoCT for the 2 losses)

   Not much of a Variation in T50 today

Don't have a ton of stats in PVP the % is a lot higher but of course theres a lot of bad PVP decks, and a lot of Rainbow ones also.

With Otyughs you should be able to beat life and lava golem rush, so I like your alternative deck (-2 dragons, +2 otyughs). Otherwise looks cool.

I might make this deck, seeing as gravity is one nymph I do have

I have the otyughs, the chargers, the black holes, and the titans, the only problem is I REALLY don't want to have to upgrade all those towers...

As far as the deck goes, you might be wise to do -2 dragons +2 elite armagio.  60 extra health never hurt anyone

I generally Like the Otys better, I just trying the dragons out for a while for the damage been a nice booster for the most part, currently in round 2 of T50 games with this deck, a lot more variation so far but the % seems on par I might try the armagios as the dragons are their for dmg boost + soaking up the fire lances and fire storms since the AI doesn't play them right.

Every time I see an upgraded nymph in a deck, I always assume that the person just randomly made a deck from the trainer, since no one upgrades nymphs.

Have you ever tested this deck? I tried, and it suffers from horrible quanta lack even with dragons switched to otyughs.

Major Reading Fail

I guess you didnt read the entire post, Yes I tested it in the top 50 It went 77-23 in 100 games NO FARMS, It plays right around the same in PVP.  I haven't recorded stats since but  played this deck quite often atleast 20-30 games a day.

And yes my Nypmh is upgraded, Its been upgraded since the nymphs came out, I got it within a week of the oracle.  I left elements for quite some time just recently came back.  The extra 1 HP has helped quite a bit. 

And I have seen several Nymphs in PVP upgraded, and even in top 50 decks.

I dont seem to have quanta issues hardly ever, not even against Devours/fractacal

   In defense of Deedle, his OP deck QI isn't too bad. And practice trumps theory.

5*6 (Chargers) + 2*12 (Dragons) + 2*7(Otys and doubled ability cost) + 6*3 (Black Holes) + 2*5 (Titans) + 12 (Nymph and ability cost) = 108. Subtract 13 for upgraded pends and towers, and you're at 95. Final QI is 7.3.

   Substituting 2 Otys/Armagios for the Dragons would reduce the QI to 6.4 or 6.5. Substituting 1 Oty and a pend for the Dragons reduces the QI to 5.5. I think I like nhan's suggestion best.

   Deedle, while your 77% is certainly very good against T50, reducing your QI as suggested might bump that % even higher.

Yes, anyways, 7.3 is too high, since 4-5 is the ideal...
