Just came back from a hiatus, and I just got swords. Took a bit to learn about arena, and as it turns out you needed five of your oracle card in your deck. And I definitely don't want to wait a day for a better card, but as it turns out, sword isn't so bad.
Just made a rush air deck, something like 6 dragonflies, 9-10 towers, maybe 1 fog, 6 Elite Wyrms, 1 Sky Blitz, and a Sky Dragon. Although I have no idea why there's an Azure dragon in there, if I knew whether I could edit the deck while in play I'd rip that out. Not sure and I don't want to accidentally take the deck down by clicking build deck so I don't know if I can check the exact composition, but its 9-1 currently in gold. (With x3 mark and x2 draw and 30 upgraded cards, everything but the animate weapons upped, I think most of its wins are due to the fact that it brutally turn 1-2 kills.)
Testing it out against my current farming deck deck which it hard counters it got...
1. Turn 6 kill which I know it got extremely unlucky with.
2. Turn 5 which really should be a turn 4 but dumb ai.
3. Turn 5 and I'm really wondering where these animate weapons are.
4. Turn 4 and found the flying weapon (and also the one unupped sword).
5. Turn 5, I'm actually a little surprised it isn't faster given how fast air rush normally is, but I guess thats what 10 swords'll do.
6. Turn 5 again... one more test.
7. And 4 turns. Note in most of these matches it does a good bit of overkill damage.
So it normalizes at about 5 turn kill, which I'm surprised most control decks in Gold can't handle apparently.
