LV 40 unupped voodoodoll deck

Hello all                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             

Today i got the Voodoo doll card from the oracle with wich i've made a arena deck that drives me crazy when i play against it.
Still, i reckon im not the best strategist here so i was wondering if u guys could help me improve my deck even further.

some basic info about the deck:

• 100 hp
• 0 upgraded cards
• Mark multiplier 3x

The deck kills u slowely by casting liquid shadow on the voodoo dolls, whilst in the meantime stealing ur artifacts and putting up his shields till its over.

i threw in a nightmare, drain life and fractal cause i had them lying around and can be usefull in certain situations. Should i take those out or put in more?

Explanation: The original deck is quanta starved and slow to set up, and very weak to PC.
What i changed:
-1 nightmare
-1 dusk
-1 liquid shadow
-1 voodoo doll
-1 PU
-2 steal
+2 devourer
+2 lightning
-5 dark pend
-5 aether pillar
+11 aether pend

This should make it a little faster to win and a little slower to die

this is how i run my un upd voodoo deck, it kills with panda, which bypasses shields often heals you and does a variety of fire cold dark damage. i use it as is, to farm gold and sometimes plat arena. it was made originally using a weekly tourney rule set. oh its important to note, when you play a deck like this its super important that you play the pendulums so that ea. turn they produce a you will starve yourself of quanta if you produce and on the same turn.

This is a very different deck to the original post. I think the idea was to make slight modifications to dagangsta4's deck, not change the playstyle completely. I'm not saying your deck isn't good because i'm sure it is, but you've taken a duo deck and added another element and an RNG factor while removing all of it's PC. I'm also curious as to the lack of parallel universes in this one. Is it just to cut down the deck size?

Ah yes, i like the changes u made Cactusking. specially the lighting is an obvious one i missed out on, but im wondering if the devourers really add something to this deck. can u explain that choice?

Given the deck Gorghandi provided, i feel like ur forgetting this is supposed to be a defensive deck. in my case 3x mark power so ur deck feels a little unbalanced for the quanta. ull end up with a load of useless darkquanta i think. nontheless it seems like a good deck.

Devourer is there for its (somewhat overused) synergy with fractal. Have you ever heard of a deck called Pestal? if not look it up it's a very popular denial deck that uses devourer/fractal to destroy any decks tight on quanta. I just thought if you're going to fractal cards then devs would be better than voodoo doll in this deck. In Gorghandi's deck there is a good reason to fractal voodoos because the more there are the more effects can be reflected to your opponent via pandemonium, but in your case the only combo is with liquid shadow -which is limited to 6 uses max -making extra dolls useless except for the two damage they do with nightfall. (which your devourers will also benefit from in the same way).

Tip: If your opponent has earth generators steal them and you can make the devourers untargetable

Ah yes, yet another good point made. haven't thought off the limit on the use of liquid shadows. and yes, i just hate Pestal decks
