I was sad to find this out myself.  It'll fly but it won't keep the immortality.

Damn i wanted to try and make the weapon immortal via Protect Artifact then fly it to get an immortal weapon. But apparently when a weapon flys down to the field it loses its immortal status.

I'm not entirely sure how useful it would be to do that but its fun to try these things out anyway

So we can test decks with any card, including miracle, squid, and both shards.

Well, this thread was about mark cards but regular rare cards are in there too, yes.
I can change the starter decks quite easily too, would it interest someone? What build should I put?

They weren't meant to be, but Zanzarino made the decision to leave them. If he really wanted nobody to have them, he could have deleted them.

You should change the title of this thread because technically you CAN protect artifact a weapon then fly it

It just loses it's protected status unless it is naturally immortal.
