Wrote an intro if we go with the vacuum caused by Anta's death plotline. What do you think?
It was with stony silence the old King burned.
The elementals stood, stoic, as the old titan lay on his funeral pyre, turning to ashes as they watched.
No one knew how he died. There was no doubt it was intentional. Murder.
Could it have been entropy? Who's sitting as second strongest had infuriated them under his reign?
Could it have been life? Who'd been a mockery for years and was itching to prove themselves?
No. Such thoughts could not be thought now. Not while the old king burned. But they would be, and soon.
In the land of life, much had changed. Their old master, one who spoke of healing and light, had been replaced with a new leader, who united the forces of life and water and aether, all of which were angered by their previous defeats.
In the land of air, no leader stood tall, anarchy reigned, it too was easily grouped in with the army of the defeated.
But the defeated weren't the only ones rising up. Entropy, Earth, Death, and Time all retained their old leaders and were rallying troops to make another attempt at the throne. And as the elements of the land bifurcated into two main challenge groups, and inner squabbles broke alliances and new ones were forged, conflict and chaos reared it's ugly head.
And so, the great Antagon was slayed.
It was with stoic silence the great king burned, and the thoughts of the other eleven turned to war...
