I'm for the free elemental mark change. It would be even good when it was only possible once a day. I personally would find "2 times a day and 100 coins for every additional time" the best.
I second the free mark change, as long as I don´t know why zanz invented the 100 electrum changing costs.
More quests will probably come.
I am against upgrades from pvp. Upgrades have a worth of ~1500. That would be easy to get them.
Don´t forget: If 2 people with upgraded decks played against each other, there would be a chance of >5%, that one of them will get an upgraded card. If you beat e.g. a shrieker deck, the chances were even better. See T50 farms.
Thats too easy.

In my opinion it just goes way too long to build a new deck to experiment without selling the old one
If you think, that only upgraded decks are worth to be played...

Upgraded cards were not meant to be common cards.
It doesn´t take too much time to get all unupped bazaar cards you want.
And with T50, even a nice collection of rares is possible.

If you think, you have to play with completely upgraded decks, don´t wonder if it takes long time to get the money.

like everyone above me, i agree with the free element changes.

And the top 50 is good enough already as most people use it for farming shards and other rares, being able to win upped rares is a bit too much.

I managed to get a "starter" rainbow deck in a couple hours playing vs AI then I just had to further tune it into a more effective one. Once I finished an unupgraded but decent rainbow deck, I could upgrade a card every 1-2 hours of playing time or so, and this interval shortened with every next upgraded card I got.
So far, I invested approximately 50 hours into this game and I already have my whole deck upgraded and have a bearable success rate against FGs so getting more upgraded cards is not really a problem anymore.
I should add if I'd took the time to read the forums/wiki sooner I'd probably got my full upgraded deck in half that time.
I'm trying to say that I never felt I was doing grinding, I enjoyed most duels excluding those where I got a dead starting hand, but you can quickly quit those games.
And don't forget, it's a CCG, it shouldn't be easy to get cards. Compare some time spent to get a killer deck in Elements vs a huge amount of money to get a killer deck in MtG.

No, I in fact meant an completely unupgraded deck.
I admit, I exaggeratet when I said it just "COSTS". But I in fact was not talking about one new deck a month (or week, if you're playing everyday) but to try "Fun-decks" like... with changing it 3 times a day and to then throw it away after one week and try the next fun-deck. It is possible in the trainer but like I said, real people are more fun (especially in a  f u n - deck)

Well Inorix, who managed to upgrade his whole deck in 50 hours opened my eyes, it is possible to get big amounts of gold fast.

My problem is just how to get 12385 electrum without (being able to) beating gods to buy this deck: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,1615.0.html
It is "almost unupgraded"; that still means 7 upped cards! (1885 without the upgrades, thus affordable)

Well I found a completely unupgraded god killer, In the trainer I carded out Miracle (and got a mastery because of his miracles making the game so long ^^) and killed firequeen twice.
http://elementsthegame.wikia.com/wiki/Nytu%27s_beginner_god_killer

I went off the topic, what I wanted to point out were the 12385 electrum that you need for a good "almost" unupgraded god-killer-deck. (The deck in itself is genius, no offense!) and this is much if you do not play/win against false gods.
It is possible, i admit, and it takes less time than I thought.
But the amount looks scary. And well... its the looks that have to appeal to new players.

very good points.

i think there are very few rewards for playing PvP if we compare it to godfarming. if PvP is more fun(and less repetitive) than playing the gods why not make it more rewarding? i think you should win more from pvp than from the gods. now the game makes you to play the gods again and again if you want to make your card collection bigger. and it is VERY BORING. and it wont help if you add more gods. make PvP playable! this is the only way to avoid the boredom.

The "fix" to this problem is really easy -> make is so that you can buy marks just like you buy cards. When you buy a mark, you "unlock" it and can use it as much as you want for free. Unlocking could cost for example 500 or something.
I really like this idea. Maybe you could also (for a VERY high price) upgrade your mark, giving you 2 quanta per turn but that might not work.

Winning upgraded cards from PvP would be great.  Not the top 50 mind you, I mean Challenge a random player ( 20 coins ) PvP.  Why not, really?
