Can't play at school.

Hello there, I was just wondering if anyone would be kind enough to point me in the direction of a school friendly version of elements, for some reason my school doesnt block the forums only the game. If this post doesnt belong here, I'm sorry, I just didn't think this fit in any other section.

yes, i have figured out that the school blocks anyhting with game in the title, but i was wondering if there was anyone who knew a site which hosted the game that was able to be played through school, if not ahh well too bad for me.

http://open-surf.com/  should bypass your blocking software. I have one of those at college, and it won't let me use mediafire (all of the official professorship blogs upload TP's there... absurd)

Or. you know, you could try to do that "learning" thing in school and leave the games for home =D

unfortunately, this is also blocked and is of no use to me, thanks for trying though, makes my day when people try to help

learning? what is this learning you speak of? is it some kind of new game?

I believe somewhere in one of the harddrives there's a program that generates an x-list and basically terminates all programs that match up to the ones on the x-list. I doubt there's anything you can do about it short of hacking the computer, so...
If you only want to play the game, on the other hand, without saving, then you can just download the swf file and put it on a flash drive.
EDIT: Actually, I just tried, and I think the swf file still lets you access your account and play the game without even needing the website, so long as you are connected to the internet. I could be wrong of course, but hey, you can always give it a try.

Ya, the swf thing will probably work. One other thing you could do, although this doesn't solve your problem, is to play MUDs. They aren't for everybody, but they are great if you like RPG's and roleplaying. It's just a game that runs in the cmd.exe or DOS or whatever it is. It's multiplayer and completely text-based, meaning you read and type everything, basically using your imagination to play. Schools never block that stuff lol... Not sure if they can.

Nahh, i prefer roguelikes over MUDs, i actually have been playing DoomRL (google it) its a pretty well made game, though it can really annoy me sometimes...
