I would choose Aether. Not because it's bad, or the least-played, or that I hate it.

Because of it's cards.

ANY deck that has 6 Phase Shields will almost always beat a creature-based damage deck.

Fractal is so broken it hurts (Yes, I stole that line form you. But it was a good one!)

Most of the other cards are fine, it's just these two.

As for why I don't use gravity as much as other elements: Every card is seems to be overshadowed by Titan and Otyugh. I mean, I love flying titans+gravity pull, but almost every good rainbow deck has to have an otyugh, which makes it redundant.

Also, it steals Aether's thunder (no pun intended) of being order.

I didn't actually vote in the poll though, because I tend to use all of them in one of my favorite decks or another.

I think people don't like Aether because they have less cards. Their cards are good, so they don't need as many cards.

It's kind of the same with Darkness. I think I know who voted for that....

I love Aether!  It's immaterial.  Many FG killer decks use Quintessence.  What's not to love?
