Which speed deck do you feel works best?

Anyways, as Delreich said, speed isn't an opinion. Mono-Life and Shrieker are both equally fast and faster than speed poison. I think mono-Fire is slightly slower than the pair and Golem is slightly faster; these are my own calculations.

I tried Shrieker Rush once and strongly disliked it. Rainbow golem, at other hand, I like a lot. Would vote for it. But I admit Mono Fire fascinate me, because it has high damage and has good creature and permanent control, so you can explode that Phase Shield. Try Mono Fire is in my to do list

I'd go with supernova rainbow rush. It may sometimes start slowly, but once it starts, it's hard to stop since it has strong critters and control wrapped up into one neat little package.

I'm a big fan of speed decks. I find they are like this (fastest-slowest):

Pillarless Fire Golem / Rainbow
Shrieker Rush
Flying druiding staves (*)
Mono air (volatile gas)
Life Rush

Not quite scientific but close, I'm using upgraded decks here. Flying druidic staves isn't that fast but does give you elemental mastery 50%+ of the time so if you're grinding for cash this makes it efficient(ish) vs AI3. I don't think mono-fire would be as fast (though it shines in pvp), and with supernova+rainbow doesn't generally allow you to play as much on the 1st turn as shrieker rush / fire decks. I've not considered speed poison. The only measurement is in terms of speed. Shrieker rush isn't all that fun to play but it is fast.

I'm still trying to find the optimum Pillarless Fire Golem / Rainbow deck

When speaking about speed decks, the most important question is:
unupped? fully-upped? for a begginer/newbie? for an experienced player?

For example rainbow golem rush is very fast even unupgraded, but it's quite expensive to make (6 immolations) no matter what starting deck you take.
Life rush might be the easiest to use for a newbie, a shrieker rush requires a little bit of strategy sometimes (when to evolve all graboids at once, whether to burrow them etc.) which might be better to teach a newbie some timing and counter-creature control.

I guess speed decks that work against top50 are better than those that work good only against AI3, as newbies need rares.


Anyway, my vote goes for graboid rush simply because it has a mark

"Official" huh? What does that mean? The only comparison I know that was made using an Excel script and dummy opponent, and it showed that the deck you are talking about is NOT the fastest. Mono-Earth was faster, plus it's more dependable.
