I'm going to go out on a limb here and vote differently from everyone else.

AlfaStorm and its variants, and Flesh Recluse/Wings.
Believe it or not, EEs + Maxwell's make for good control.
Ok, yes, FFQ and the various stuff you can do with that.
Gas mono.

First, I'm assuming all cards are upgraded except in Water as Water has the only cards that are different at stock and upgraded levels.

Second, Unstable Gas really doesn't create a synergy, since your mark is sufficient to pay upkeep of Gas, otherwise synergy could be forced with Explosions. Aether can force synergy with anything because of Phase Shield/PU/Fractal, so it doesn't really count. It would also be really easy to force Darkness synergy, because, as noted by Essence, 'steals own'. Also Dragons have high health and damage, making them good targets for LS.

I'd appreciate it if you would change 'MONO FTW!!!' to just 'mono' as trip exclamation points makes you sound like either an overexcited fanboy or someone who needs to be committed. Also, there's nothing really FTW about Air mono.

Actually, I would be willing to guess hes both. He needs to be committed, because he is the master of air, and he made this poll because he loves his element. Mono Air is actually really good. It has a lot of CC, which makes it deadly to any deck that doesnt have quints.

There are mono-Fire decks that use RoLs, so this is kinda invalid. And fire stall uses sundial, but it's not called time stall.

haraki, only because a upped card isn't the same color or pays the same quantum as the original weapon it can't be called different. as long as I know, a upped sundial is still a time card, or do you disagree? unless it turns to a "other" card, which would be rare. So an animate weapon is still air. Don't forget that the un upped form of animate is still air, and the upped one IS STILL air, even if the quanta cost is not the same.

Here is a common misconception that people dont seem to understand. The card COST isnt what decides what type of card it is. It is the card BACKGROUND that makes that decision. Even if it cost  upped, as long as the background looks the same, its still tecnhically a  card that requires  to be played.

that's what I was trying to say - I think I didn't just explained it right. I said that even if a card costs different, it would still be the same as the one un-upped. obviously, the background makes more sense. xD. anyway,
