in 3rd turn my opponent played a photon and imp mutation:

next turn my opponent played another photon and imp mutation:

then i decided to play my only one chance (pandemonium), and the devourer got lobo'd, the other dragon got rewinded...  ??? ??? ???

on the top of that in the end i won with EM.

When I mutate stuff I keep getting healing nymphs loads of different types of nymphs all have healing ability.  *facepalm*

That is either a good photo-chop skill or a bug. As far as I know, a burrowed mutant with original ability AND same stats is not possible.

As far as I know, a burrowed mutant Graboid with 'Hatch' will produce a burrowed unupgraded creature with original ability
proofs can be found in various posts in this here thread if you bother to look first

My sincere apologies, deepdown. I've thought about mutant with "hatch", but never knew that it could produce a normal creature.

Making a creature invulnerable (burrowing or quinting) will remove its 'mutation' status. From then on it behaves as though it is not a mutant. Hatch changes from an iteration of 'improve' to acting exactly like a Fate Egg and producing creatures with their original stats and abilities.

Tee hee.. ninja'd even before I asked the question. Your explanation is right on target, smuglapse. I just found the same thing happens with a quinted mutant with "deja-vu" ability - it'll produce the exact same copy.
