Why not just use two eternities instead of a rewind?
I can use a Rewind and an eternity the same turn, and the second eternity becomes a dead card once the other one's up. Also, rewind is less expensive than an eternity, so if for some reason I can't use my eternity, I can use the rewind instead. Of course, against gods like Destiny, steal basically becomes a second eternity (or a
tower if you pull eternity first) costing
quanta instead
Yup, learning the in's and out's of the deck xD That plus trying to get some more electrum to up some more of my cards before I seriously try taking on the FG. Seeing as I can't play that much these days because of finals, I figured why not kill 2 birds with one stone lol
Heh, that's a good idea, actually. Just be sure to include a reverse time- I have been saved so many times from eternity at the bottom/not enough quanta to fund eternity because of that (and also from forgetting to rewind, since I tend to use rewind and eternity after drawing my last card so I have more leeway)
This deck seems to be an out right kill or epic fail, depending on your luck. Countless times I've been down to under 5 life and pulled a shield/chain of sundials and ended it with EM XD
Yeah, luck plays a huge part- I can't count the times I've needed a dial and only gotten pillars or something.
Why not just use two eternities instead of a rewind?
Because that would be a strain on the quanta income. I'm thinking about exchanging a piller or two with a green/mark pendulum seeing as those two are the most needed in this deck.
The problem with that is that you lower total quanta generation, and make yourself slightly more vulnerable to EQ, steal, etc. It really comes down to making the right decisions- do I want to play this hourglass, and get extra draw, or save up for my eternity? Or, do I want a mutant, a feral bond, or another firefly?- I rarely play all my glasses in one battle, and there have been times when I wished I had played a sundial instead of an hourglass. I've been comparing bonds and SoG lately- the shard gives a flat +5 regen, which allows me to recover when I have no creatures out, but the bond works better once I have 6 (or 3, for both bonds) creatures out- ultimately, it depends on whether I need the healing now, because I can't play/draw creatures, or if I have FFQ out or RoF/boneyard playable.
and
aren't the only quanta I have trouble with, either-
presents a huge problem when the towers aren't kind, I can't count the losses where I needed oty out one turn earlier, had it in my hand for five or six turns waiting on quanta, or didn't get one quanta from my towers so that I could eat. Quantums give more quanta, but randomly, and pillars/pendulums give less, but specific, quanta- and I think the deck needs higher quanta generation over specific quanta generation.
TL;DR: Quantum towers > elemental towers/pendulums in that deck
Finally, has anyone else noticed that mutants tend to become versions of the creatures around them, or share abilities with other mutants nearby? I've seen lots of mutants that, for example, are an oty under my oty, or become a pharaoh next to another pharaoh mutant, or have poison, and the creatures above and next to them have poison? I don't usually re-mutate unless it's got momentum or it's something weak with, for example, burrow?
Also, I think it's a good idea to burrow such mutants against TU gods- then it's no longer a "mutant"
(10|something toadfish with burrow helped me figure this out)
