What's the closest call you've ever had?

Many times actually. 1hp is not uncommen

One time against Scorpio, I was down to 1 hp with 10 poison. I had a single sog and he had a few 6/3 blue crawlers from an earlier fire storm. Then I drew a sog, then hastened and drew another fire storm. Without both those cards I would have lost. I got back up to 25 hp or so, and then scorp went on a poison spree. I won with 1 hp left.

He then used an hourglass to deck himself out.

I thibnk, he wanted to show that he enyoed the match. Sometimes at a great and fun match where you are nearly going to win a match, some people are so nice and give you a win for a great and fun game.

I was down to 1hp, against an FG and he was owning me badly. Lots of low HP creatures though, luckily, I had no creatures, was staying alive because of a phase shield, had my hourglass and 2 empathetic bonds on the field and two boneyards. I drew a firestorm, played bonewall, wiped out his field, got an almost full field of skellies and a big bonewall. Ended up winning the game with Element Mastery. Though, that happens rather frequently to me.

My closest call was against an FG, I had 1 life left, 1 card in my deck and he had 2 Dragons on the field, my Dusk SHield had them both miss and I did him in on my turn but it was incredibly close.

I've had plenty of times where I was at 1hp, and drew a critical Feral Bond or Bone Wall which allowed me to stall and come back to win with full hp.  My decks somewhat designed that way (though if I get a good hand, it doesn't dip more than 40hp)...

I've had copious amounts of those one hp victories against FG's as well. The one I remember the most was against Hermes. He got me down to one hp, had destroyed both of my bonds, and hadn't used a single lance. So basically, I had to not only stall long enough to defeat him, but also hope he didn't draw a lance. Fortunately I ran one of those 34 card rainbows while dials were still amazing. Drew dials from hasten a couple times in which if I didn't draw them I would have lost, and I eventually built up enough bone walls that he couldn't penetrate (eating my own fireflies and stuff against his few large golems). So ya, I won that one somehow.

happened many times to me. i guess it's normal after so many games
