After the days when I grind mindlessly with AI5 (yeah I know, but AI3 is just too repetitive) and gain that load of electrum to build an upped timebow FG killer, I found that the money mainly comes from selling upped cards from winning FGs. That is how I get what I consider a "nice amount" of upped cards now.

But, these upped cards are way beyond building an upped deck. Apart from popular cards that construct the common rainbow decks, other popular FG decks such as RoL/Hope or Shakar is like another hill to climb. Their upgrade cost, when compared to "rainbow deck cards", is just not quite efficient.

So it all comes down to this: can you consistently beat FGs? If I had more days like those I had recently, I am going to lose all my money eventually, or the electrum count will just not stack fast enough even to catch up with the game's update. When you realized that, what is the point of playing?

Well... I had a similar problem.  I'd been playing Elements since 2009 and hadn't made an upped FG deck.  I had relied on SG's godkiller.  When Sundial got nerfed, I needed to gain a source of fast cash.  I upgraded a T50 deck and started grinding and grinding and grinding and grinding until I had enough to upgrade part of an RoL/Hope deck.  (with heavy help from Krathos, Higurashi, and others)  I finished upgrading it today.  I know exactly what you're talking about.  I often face the same FG twice in a row or with one other in between.  It's sometimes beneficial, but it's often Dark Matter, Dark Matter, Decay, Neptune, Dark Matter, Akebono, Dark Matter, etc.

The two things I learned from my first two days of farming v1.27 are:

1.  Like jmdt said, it's worthwhile to have a steady source of backup income in case you have a bad go of farming.  I don't have the patience to farm AI3 endlessly, so I didn't make an AI3 deck.  My goal is to make an EM AI3 deck from my FG earnings.

2.  If you face an FG that you often have difficulties winning against, skip it.  It'll lose you 30 :electrum, but it'll gain you valuable time.  One upgraded card offsets forty loses.  Make the most of your time.  You'll probably gain some patience too.

Some of the new Gods are hell on rainbow decks. They steal all your stuff. Also winnings against ferox have dropped since he uses rustlers better. Sometimes I feel something isn't right. This is when I change decks. If the pattern persists, I might beat the Gods I was losing to before. I don't know the losing streaks you speak of. You can lose 5 for sure, but maybe Neptune comes along later to give you 2 or 3 cards at once. This is why I generally dislike playing decks that do not defeat Neptune.
Shards aren't overpowered, as long as you have them yourself.

Akebono is the third gravity deck.  It focuses on Chimera and Overdrive.  What makes it so hard to beat is that it's really fast.

You can lose 5 for sure, but maybe Neptune comes along later to give you 2 or 3 cards at once. This is why I generally dislike playing decks that do not defeat Neptune.
I don't really farm for win rate.  I do it for the cash.  I lost 16 games in a row yesterday in a matter of 6 minutes.  Didn't really bother me because I also upgraded 9 cards yesterday.  Right now, I don't really have the electrum to build a timebow with an amazing win rate but low electrum per hour ratio.  I'm really just trying to gain enough to build a credible AI3/PvP deck.

my favorite FG for money and selling spin prizes is osiris. the chances are he'll give you a rare (i often get 2) and using RoL/hope you can easily achieve EMs against him.

If I have bad luck on getting lots of low win% FGs, I usually change my FG grinding deck to something that has higher win% against those. Usually I use one of these: Lone Stalker, ESco / Eternal Chaos, DoSA / Retro deck, or RoL/Hope. Sometimes if I should have new creative idea for a deck, I'll go try it against AI3 or HB.

I know everyone ought to be unlucky in some days, but I just can't find any other thing that can cause me such a devastating frustration. Yes I might be complaining, but I really can't think of anything else I can do. So why not tell me what would you do if you face such a frustration?

Many people suggest changing decks, and I must that is a reasonable and straight-forward thing to do. But the problem is that I, probably just like many others, simply have only a basic FG rainbow with a few other upgrade cards. For example, changing between CCYB and Lone Stalker is not a problem, as they share quite a few cards, but to change to an entire new deck (e.g. Shakkar) is simply impossible.
I even just got a half-upped RoL/Hope. I was upgrading them since like 1.25, and now it seems to be a deck not feasible to upgrade any more (compare with Shakkar). What if a new killer deck suddenly exist when the game goes to newer version?
