Obviously some of these sound terrible ( :life and  :water for starters...) but I think the more humanoid creatures sound good. (Angels, Vampires, and Immortals particularly.)

Agreed. It kind of sounds odd to classify all Elementals under one name though, given subspecies and all those possiblities. (:darkness could also be Shadows, :light could also be Templars, there are a lot of possiblities.)

 :water - Atlanteans? (Flayers kind of implies they're overly reliant upon Aether.)
 :death - Undead sounds best.
 :time - Chronomancers
