No playable cards

I was under the impression that every opening hand would contain at least one playable card, but today i got a hand without any pillars/ zero casting cost cards. is this normal?

Yups. The auto mulligan only tries once iirc.

ahh ok because i remember reading about the mulligan somewhere and this is the first time this has happened to me in months of playing

Yups. The auto mulligan only tries once iirc.

Correct. It's a total pain when you don't get any.. but that's usually a sign your deck is unbalanced.

Yeah, statistically it is extremely unlikely for this to happen, unless you have virtually no zero cost cards.  I can only remember it happening to myself twice in 8 months.  If you get one hand with no playable cards, it will deal a new hand one time; if the new hand also has no playable cards... you have to play it, as you did here.
